Charming, still primary cassis/blackberry fruit, medium bodied 13.5%ABV, tannins are present but very polished and not overpowering. Very elegant. Needs more time to bring about tertiary notes. 69% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc. 18-28 days fermentation, temps 26-28 C. Aged 15-18 months in 50% new French oak, 50% 1st fill. Racking every 3 months.

Deep Ruby red with lovely fruit aromas of red/blue and dark berries and cinnamon spice. The palate on this blend of Cabernet Sauvignon: 69%; Merlot: 27%; and Cabernet Franc: 4%; shows raspberry, cherry and black currant flavors with tobacco and cedar. The tannins are well developed and structured, full and rich but calmed down after decanted, well balanced. The finish was complex, elegant and enjoyable, giving mineral nuances with good length. The 2012 is tasting well now and will get better over time. Nice

Fun trying the new vintage compared to the teenager. A lot more fresh fruit but still surprisingly earthy and rustic for being a 2012. Great balance and length.

Закрыто, сдержано, минерально. Цветочно-ягодно-замшевый тон, элегантно. Тело умеренно плотное, суховатые интенсивные танины. В целом симпатично. 16.5/20 (91/100)

Drinking well. Won’t improve much. Softer tannins than I was expecting.

Cherry and a hint of chocolate on the nose. Good and balanced tannins. Thank you, Trader Joe’s.
