The air of a Merlot, with the joys of all the rest — 8 years ago
Great blend. I like dry and this has just the right amount. Typically Bordeaux drinker but this is perfect alternative. — 9 years ago
This is my Hurricane Harvey wine. After being housebound by flooding for 6 days I decided to open this gem from Morlet which shows all the classic Knight's Valley character I love. It is a treasure of cassis, black currants, incense and sandalwood, tar and menthol. Black pepper and spice box. The palate is a layered as is the nose, with a succulentdark fruit core framed with understated, fine,, mouthcoating tannins. 15.0% alcohol — 9 years ago
This is one of our favorite Cape Bordeaux style blends. Great body with long finish and subtle finish and velvety tannins. — 10 years ago
Someone needs to correct the name on this app and I can’t ever get anyone to respond, but...this Cab was fantastic and got better after being opened for an hour or two. Dark fruit and good tannins. — 6 years ago
Cab Franc is so underrated. Usually like French ones better but this one is awesome for Ca. Still has that vegetal quality but rounded out with tons of big Cali vibes fruit. Medium tanin. Yum. — 8 years ago
Oh my lord. What an extremely balanced, smooth wine. The aroma/nose is perfect, youthful fruits and berries, oak; but the taste is where it's really at. Sublime, smooth, nothing prominent, nothing hidden, all of them sitting in a equal row, like an extremely high end pair of headphones, nearly clinical. High alcohol content, low viscosity, translucent ruby color, presence of gas. What an absolutely incredible wine -- and it's from California!!! — 8 years ago

A very nice wine. — 10 years ago
Cherry earth herb with leather and oaky undertones. Black currants dominate the mid-act of this quiet show. Better days ahead. Still young with hidden elegance and the promise of something special to come. Cherry cola notes linger on a smooth but tannic finish that easily lasts a full 60 seconds. — 10 years ago
Dry, light, nice merlot! — 6 years ago
Loads of showy, aromatic, pretty, and mostly red fruit. Has stern mineral backbone hidden underneath. Started drinking nicely after about 2 hours. I would not open another bottle anytime soon. I’d say bury it in the cellar for at least 5 years before trying but it may not hit its stride until 10+ years. There’s so much here, I think this’ll be fantastic once developed. 93 pts indicating the quality of the wine and its potential, not this drinking experience. — 8 years ago
Received as a gift. Paired with roasted salmon. Dense, rich, complex and very long. Superb! — 9 years ago

AMAZING BORDEAUX that’s still able to shine, decanted, after a few hours of opening! In ritual notes of damp leather, subdued / dried fruits and felt past its prime. 2 hours later - completely blossomed into this robust, aged, beautiful almost “fruit forward” masterpiece with almost olive overtones. I’m sure it was a great bottle 10, 20, even 30 years ago - but now it’s almost better as it’s transformed into this subtle, wonderful wine which was able to hold its own against aged cheese and roasted beef. A true treasure I’m glad we uncorked!! (BTW - cork was LONG - get your longest screw out for this one)!!! — 4 years ago
