Had this a year ago, aged nicely. Bob and Jim Varner started planting in 1980. Deep Ruby, slight brown edges, aromas of ripe berry fruits with earthy smoky cedar. On the palate cherry and raspberry with currant notes, good balance. Fine savory tannins, long ending with ripe fruit, toasty spice and earthy character. Drink now!!

Already started showing secondary plum notes. Seems to have lost its freshness.

Bright red fruit nose and taste- at the front then evolves into minerality and spice. A medium weight Pinot.

Exotic and heady aromas of sandalwood, stone fruit and chalk, carry through a bright palate that shows pretty strawberry/peppery flavors.

Blackcurrant, blackberry, chalk and exotic pepoery spice on an intense palate. Soft on the front with savory and cruchier acidity coming through a meaty finish.
