In general i was more impressed by the PN in the region on this trip than I was last year. This is a good example of why. Fruit, earth, good acidity. — 5 years ago
Black cherry, raspberry, currant, cranberry, loamy earth and oak. Good structure and soft tannins. — 6 years ago
Beautiful, austere, delicate. — 6 years ago
There's a lot going on in this wine. Light crisp tropical mineral. — 9 years ago
Like a beautiful bouquet of roses and lilac. It's always rosé season at Sheldrake. — 10 years ago
Love the sweetness of this wine. Not over the top. Just the right amount for a sweet red. Delectable and mouthwatering. — 10 years ago
starting my first Dr Konstantin Frank lineup with his Finger Lanes Gewurztraminer. nose dominated by fresh lychee. getting some some tropical melon and lemon rind, and a little bit of saltwater. tropical is the theme for me. similar on the palate. a very nice win at a bargain price. — 4 years ago
Extremely fruity with a strong note of melon. This wine is delectably sweet and tangy! — 5 years ago
Gritty black fruit. Thin on opening. Fleshes out and blooms with air and protein. A cool weather Cab Franc to be sure. Patience in the glass brings rewards. — 5 years ago

Taste melon, apple, apricots. Very easy to drink — 3 years ago
Unbelievable, absolutely fabulous! I must have had it with the right food (including cauliflower with dill cheese as well as some cheese and crackers, all dill centered). Excellent! Could not stop drinking it, as it was so good! — 4 years ago
Extremely complex and full of acidity. Aromatics of lemon, Granny Smith apple, basil, wet stones and rubber. The pallet features flavors of lemon pith, peach, green apple and slate. Straw colored and lively. Hint of fruity sweetness on the finish. Nice FLX expression of this outstanding Eastern European grape! — 5 years ago
A really nice white!! — 6 years ago
Love this. Nice dry to sweet ratio. — 7 years ago
Friday night random whites...
Fresh, clean and refreshing, light White peach notes. Nose is attractive, but a little too cold on first taste, so slightly closed initially.
Off-dry blend of NY's Finger Lakes region Cayuga & Vignoles, nose is really opening up nicely with some air and warming of the wine in the glass. Not overly complex, but this is a solid buy for the $10/$13 (wine club/retail) price. — 8 years ago
This was a surprisingly good rose from NY. — 10 years ago
Good as usual. Acidity and bubbles ! — 10 years ago
