Nice version of this variety. Rich grape. Quite dry and acidic on the tongue. — 4 years ago
A tropical fruit filled chilled SB with jumbo stone crab in a summer like day.

Dark ruby in color with a purplish rim.
Great fruity nose with black currants, blackberries, figs, cooked cherries, smoke, licorice, cedar, vanilla, alcohol, spices, cinnamon, chocolates, coffee, peppercorn and licorice.
Full bodied and big, yet smooth, with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry and fruity on the palate with blackberries, sweet plums, cherry pie, dried figs, tobacco, spices, wood, herbs, earth, leather and peppercorn.
Long finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a great Napa Bordeaux blend. Well balanced and enjoyable by itself or with food. Showing good complexity with a great mouthfeel.
The tangy finish makes it interesting, with a teeth staining color.
This 3 year old is drinking very nicely now. Good right out of the bottle and better as it opens up (one hour).
Rich and extracted. Delightful and delicious.
I paired it with a big piece of steak and grilled asparagus.
15% alcohol by volume.

2010 vintage. Deep ruby hue. Amazing nose of white pepper, Chinese spice, black fruits and cocoa beans. Complex despite its youth. On the palate, medium acidity, medium plus body and alcohol, medium ripe silky tannins, full concentration and long finish. Extremely promising. Drink 2022 until 2040. — 8 years ago
Yum yum yum. Vibrant, natural, gulpable, grape juice. Sour red fruit, walnuts, herbs. Drank over lots of discussion of mouseyness, and thought I detected some after opened for a while, but I could have just been drunk and imagining things. — 9 years ago
This is the 2010, and it's a very pretty pinot. Color is light with a bit of salmon color and more of a translucent garnet. Nose has red fruit, white pepper, baking spices, sweet cherry, and smoke. Palate is nicely balanced with pronounced-but-very fine grained tannins. More red fruit, sweet spices, and vanilla come through on the palate. Finish isn't intense, but it is very pretty and actually it is long. With the right white-flesh fish, this would be an outstanding, talk-about-it-the-next-time wine. — 10 years ago
A real solid $20 Chard, Barrel aged 10 months sur lie! Medium lemon color with aromas of stone and citrus fruits with notes of warm baking spice. On the palate ripe apple and lemon flavors with vanilla and nutty toasty oak. Well balanced on medium+ finish ending, a bit buttery with slight oak and mineral notes. A favorite!! — 4 years ago
@Ron R @Buddy G @Patrick Schultz thank you for all of your good advice! I picked this one for the region, per your advice. It was very earthy at first with lots of acidity. Tonight, it’s so very smooth with lots of fruit on the palate. I will continue to follow your advice and try some other ones. Cheers! — 4 years ago
Currant and perfume on the nose with some vanilla and subtle saline minerality. Full bodied dark fruits, velvet on the tongue, great mouthfeel. Tight, moderately tannic, then a smooth prolonged finish.

Big, warm, leather and spices on the nose. So much spice on the front of the tongue as you sip, jammy stewed blackberries, good tannins that pull the moisture from your mouth, and a spicey tingle that just lingers. Andrea said to drink with all the BBQ'd meats, so with steak tonight and brats on 4th of July! — 7 years ago
Floral and ripe nose, pithy orange on the palate. Awesome value. — 8 years ago
Garnet red with some browning on the edges. Nose was definitely tight to start, with a couple hours of air it changes from chalky and savory to some dark berries. Kind of all mixed together. Cassis and blackberries in the attack with some earthy and vegetal undertones. Moderate tannins (6.5/10) and a moderate body. Slightly furry moderate plus finish. Drink till 2019. — 9 years ago
Nice bottle. Tobacco notes open up to lovely delicate red fruit. Cherry, strawberry. Perhaps a touch heavy on the alcohol. Great acid. — 10 years ago
Opened 2/15/14, it's the right time to open. Not long enough on the pallet but very well balance on the bouquet and fruit — 11 years ago
Intense dark cherry and leather nose. Deep and rich on the palate with notes of chocolate, spice and herbs. Decanting would help it open. Grippy tannins. — 4 years ago
Nose has cherry, tobacco, vanilla, strawberry jam. Good acidity on the taste to balance fruit. Excellent balance! — 4 years ago
One hour decant(decent amount of sediment). A sumptuous dark ruby red with some bricking. On the nose: Sweet perfume jumps from the glass with black cherry, floral, black olives, and a minty menthol. Let's you know to buckle up....a 4 point harness system buckle up!! Taste: Sweet tannins coat the mouth with dark fruit and jolts of red plum, mocha, cedar, and toasty oak.
A full body, juicy wine with great acidity. A pencil lead/mineral looong finish. Drinking great now and will go another 10 years. Got 2 more bottles...YES!! — 5 years ago
Day 2 of Napa in the books!
We were told that we were the first non-employees to taste the ‘16 Continuum. Only decanted an hour or so prior to arrival. Very young. Highlights Pritchard Hill/Sage Canyon wonderfully. The depth here is what is special...heavy/baked black cherry, surrounded by mineral & herbal notes. Ripe and sweet red, blue and black fruits present. Massive in structure to go on for years. Loved this. — 6 years ago
Still just a baby, tightly wound with showing mineral/graphite notes as the longer it decants the fruit starts to show on the finish. Great aging potential. — 9 years ago
Really good, lots going on in it. Great with steak. — 10 years ago
Somewhat of a cult Pinot in Tassie. Home Hill wins many trophies on the Show circuit. Very aromatic nose - a touch sooty. Medium
Weight palate quite long. Noticeable acid at finish. Good. 17+. — 11 years ago
Deep black cherry, touch of licorice, light cedar on the nose. Medium tannins. — 12 years ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Ruby with aromas dark red fruits and floral spice. On the palate black cherry, blackberry and plum flavors with cedar, pepper and vanilla spice. Big, yet soft tannins, long finish well balanced with acidity ending with fruit, cedar and floral spice. Nice! — 4 years ago
