This drank way above the price point. Clearly Aussie juice, a brighter, more tropical version of Chard. Loads of toasty oak up front give it vanilla and sweet spice notes but it's still light and clean, with vibrant tropical and citrus notes. Flint and minerals, lemon curd. No loss of acidity after 5 years. Peaking now!

Has to be the best chardonnay from South Africa. Dead ringer for a 1er Cru Chassagne Montrachet.

Loads of tropical fruits on the nose; pineapple, passion fruit, guava, apricots, and acacia flowers. White stone fruits, grapefruit zest and sea salt on the palate. Lovely chard; crisp, complex, and enough fruit to round out the mineral notes.
