Subtle red that is so easy to drink. Love it! From the Eastern European wine tasting class. — 4 years ago
Unique and singular, aromatic, rich mouthfeel and driven by bitter phenolics and earthy spices. Jasmine, tea leaves, subtle yellow fruit, grapey, sweaty socks. Steely minerality, oily texture — 5 years ago
Great concentration, honey pear — 5 years ago
Really like. A bit of a bite like Pinot.

Fantastic, but could use 5-10 years to integrate. Serious winemaking! — a year ago
Smooth yet very tasty — 2 years ago
Reductive, puristic, smoky and herby - already from the start. On the palate this shows brilliant balance between the vibrant, juicy acidity and golden delicious, ripe pear & melon and shy oak.
Yet behind all this there is this rough, smoky, mineral, wild edge that makes this really interesting and ask for a second glass. Better than the 2013 and drinking very nicely right now. — 3 years ago
Wow, what an amazing wine. Clear and crisp distinctly austrian, with smooth, rich oak with vanilla and spices. — 5 years ago
Very expressive on the nose: fresh lemon, saline, wet white stone. High acid. Medium body. 13% abv. Limestone soil, 1er cru. — 5 years ago

Pfalz Sauvignon blanc. Fascinating portal into the kind of detailed palate & bright fruits possible for this varietal in Germany. Think more Loire than NZ. Impressive acidity. — a year ago
