Lovely wine! — 9 years ago
This white Rioja wine - Viura and “other varieties” - shows a pale golden tint in the glass. The nose is beautiful. Citrus and tropical fruit abound, with a stony minerality laced into the fruit. On the palate, the acidity is extremely refreshing and the flavors of tangerines and lemons are again presented in mineral fashion. The finish is lengthy and the tropical fruit seems to last the longest. — 9 years ago
My favorite Malbec of all times!! Live it. — 9 years ago
Big fan of this Malbec. Rose, anise seed and dark chocolate on the nose complete with tobacco and dark cherries on the palate. Continues to open and develop. Such a beauty. Two nights in a row I taste a great wine chosen by another German friend 🇩🇪 — 11 years ago
One of the best wine I have ever drunk — 11 years ago
Totally dig this firmly structured, broodingly mineral, moderately grained tannin wines with revitalizing acidity. Blackberries, black plums, fireplace cinders. Very cool! — 11 years ago
The 2013 Bodega Classica Lopez de Haro Reserva is medium dark in the glass. The nose is aromatic with violets, cigars, ripe plums and earth. On the palate, we find big, dark fruit, oak spice and a meaty black olive note. Tannins are firm and the acidity is lively, so it's great to sip as well as have it with some steak. — 8 years ago

I swore when I first tasted this. Wow, just wow. Floral, fruity, and flirty. @Erik Barner where are you when we need ya? Happy 4th! — 9 years ago

Best bottle to drink on the dock while fishing for fresh Dungeness crab. Super fizzy, dry, and strawberries that remind of summer sun. Love. — 9 years ago
Keith's annual fino dinner where I over drink carbon dated sherry. Dry start and finish with rockstar spunk. Very mineral. Special barrel at the end of the line with the oldest wine in the entire solera. — 10 years ago
Velvery smooth, but big deep flavor. Disappointingly short finish, but still great. First try, impressed overall. — 11 years ago
Holy balls. Who knew Santa Maria could do Nebbiolo so god damned well? — 11 years ago
Como su nombre lo dice, discreto encanto! Se siente mucho la presencia de la flor de Jamaica! Seco al final y con cuerpo! — 11 years ago

Wonderfully easy to drink. Great white. — 8 years ago
Merlot driven Bordeaux blend on French oak. Comes out pretty classic, but with prominent oak spice on the nose. Long finish of dark fruit. — 9 years ago

Blackberry, smoky. Deserves to be open for like 45 mins before serving. — 9 years ago
I got cumin and cedar upfront on the nose. Incredibly mature and round tannins for a wine with only 3-4 months oak aging. Just quality #tempranillo #riberadelduero — 10 years ago
2012 vintage. A truly fruitful wine. Highly recommend. — 10 years ago
constantly underestimated grape - here presented in perfect condition and showing culinary herbs, ridden saddle leather, autumn foliage and some fruital hints.
a quite adorable old lady!
certainly on a range with a. oberto, braida and vietti's barbera treatment skills, highlighted here the ability to age this low in tannin grape... — 11 years ago
