Who doesn’t love a subdued natural that tastes faintly of icing sugar? This retains a Chardonnay’s oak, is borderline too sweet but balanced enough to make me want to gulp it like crazy. This would pair with a cheese board like JLo and Puff Daddy 👌🏻 — 6 years ago
Lovely zippy minerality, apricots, lychee, kiwi skin, Young and easily drinkable right now. Lapping riverstone for a long time after the gulp. Paired with VA "Cannon Cove" oysters. — 8 years ago
ladies and gentlemen, this is how to do a perfectly balanced, huge wine!
what a sincere charakter, super focused, not bold or jammy at all.
70 year old carignan vineyard 600 meters above sea level. red and black shist soil.

Initially smoky, ripe sweet tomatoes, slightly metallic, menthol and thyme. Elegant and very easy to gulp. Drink now. — 7 years ago
The nose will punch you in the face with black cherry and mushroom, I could smell this wine all day. Take a gulp and you'll taste a tannic tightness, a full body and just a medium complexity. The wine is pretty good but is probably best suited to be poured into one of those spray gun fans just so you can get that great nose all day and not get hammered drinking a 15% alcohol wine that's just OK. — 7 years ago
This is a fantastic little gem from Sardinia. It's all about the funk. That barnyard funk. Very smooth mouthfeel with ripe red fruit. It has a fresh, natural taste to it with loads of herbs and spices. The finish is chalky and long. Cannonau is typically fuller-bodied and pairs well with red meats, this baby is no different. Open it, let it breathe, then gulp it down. — 8 years ago
My fiancé's best friend bought this wine for me. It's very dry, but very good. It is not a wine to gulp down by any means. — 8 years ago

Skin contact with the most delicate, pink hue. A light vegetal quality adds interest to this carefree wine. Otherwise gentle on all fronts: acidity, mineral, RS, and fruit. Enjoyed more to gulp than with food. — 6 years ago
Oh fuck yah mayhaps I’ll always overrate a gamay from a cru. Like god damn Fleurie. I dunno. All I know is I love a complex Gamay. So let’s suck it up:, the red/black/blue notes are in but be willing to gulp more. Let the licorice SPEAK! Love that licorice-y shit. Sup it up. — 7 years ago
So good! Mineral, stone, amazing can franc green pepper and black pepper. Just gulp able right now. So fresh. — 8 years ago
Love love love this wine. Super smooth. Could drink the whole bottle in one gulp. — 9 years ago
I love this stuff, maybe even a little more with each vintage! Dark berries, the perfect amount of sweetness without being heavy handed and certainly not overloaded with oak. So good you know you could gulp it but you don't want to. — 9 years ago

I know it’s become a bit of a cliché...
It IS rather dear for a rosé...
The cult of Kermit and all that...
...but it remains a benchmark. It’s SUBSTANTIAL, for one, you don’t want to gulp it down, it’s 14% ABV and so marvelously complex. Nose is strawberries, herbs, brett. Palate is more strawberries, watermelon, slate, brett, moss, garrigue. Bitter finish with a bit of zing. It’s wild and untamed, yet sophisticated—Keith Richards in a tuxedo. — 6 years ago
