Baked apple & cider, butterscotch, yeast, cacao nose. Lively effervescence, caramel, brioche, medium acid, and nice underripe apple. This wine definitely has a chunky / chewy texture that explodes ok the palate. Sweet raisinated quality that delivers an oxidative sweetness, with a flash of light baking spice. Delightfully floral on the palate: elderflower / gardenia - sweet, fresh, white flowers.
Great with liver, foie, terrines, apple pie ala mode. — 9 years ago
Some smoky flint and poultry jumping out of the glass, the initial off-gas as this bloomed beautifully. The bottle only lasted about 45 minutes out on our table and in that time it settled nicely into a canvas of concentrated minerals white flowers perfect ripeness the right acidity. Lean and muscular, no fat, no human hands present here. Highly recommended. Iroulewhat?! Who would've known? Thanks kermit. Fried food for the win. — 9 years ago

Pourrait très bien aller avec le foie gras. Sucré fruité mais pas licoreux — 8 years ago
Interesting! Lacking in the mid-palate but good- dry w salinity but oaky w fungal notes in the back palate to round it out. Good summer food wine. — 9 years ago
Golden color, fragrant nose of honey, apricot, brown sugar. Crisp, honey notes, great acid, with some nutty notes that remind me a bit of Meursault. A great value. — 9 years ago
Smells like a cross between white peaches and Sancerre. So tasty. — 10 years ago
Robe dorée - nez sur l'ananas et le miel - une pointe de rancio en bouche, en plus d'une acidité soutenue et d'une longueur notable. Top! — 10 years ago

I agree with @Andrew Cooper it has intense almost chewable flavor and very refreshing and balanced acidity. There's a sensation of #minerality that when #blindtasting could almost lead you to think it's a Riesling from Alsace. 14 alcohol. #jurançon — 8 years ago
