Juice for moms looking for something more than Pinot Grigio. Golden color. Warm aroma. Low acid. — 6 years ago
Tasted October 2013
Exceptional winexperience!) Freshness, delicacy, persistence, balance and performace - all in one to form Lalùci!
Garment of light gold with tiny green hues.
Fantastic bouquet of summer flowers with sage and thyme hints organically turns to peach, lime, apple and even melon, with touch of minerality.
Palate shows intense and refreshing yet very pleasant acidity; aromas of lemon, pear, capers slowly evolves to citrus and minarality on the finish.
Perfect pairing to grilled amberjack (ricciola) and pasta marinara.
Great wine, no doubts — 8 years ago
First time for me - 100% Grillo. Green almonds and hazlenuts immediately transported me back to being at seppeltsfield tasting show reserves from the early 1900s. Stunning. — 9 years ago

Refreshing and crisp. — 6 years ago
Wonderful Sicilian natural wine! Deep gold (let’s call it light orange) in color. Hints of grilled lemons with a hint of smoke. Beautifully “funky.” A true winner! Great with appetizers! Thank you Franky Bella for this selection. — 6 years ago

Lemon in colour. Notes of Orange peel and Quince on nose and palate. Medium to full bodied. Refreshing uncomplicated drinking. The base wine, Grillo, used in Sicily for the fortified Marsala - a style that has fallen out of favour in recent times. Tasted again 30 weeks later on 10th May 2019 with consistent notes as above. Tasted again on 9th October 2019 with consistent notes. Also notes of old apples and quince as previous. A delicious Mediterranean white and excellent QPR. — 6 years ago
Actually a Freisa. Medium–full bodied. Funky, farmy, and leathery. Sheepskin nose. Lush, velvety tannins. Wet granite, prunes, damp earthy mushrooms, tar, dried lilacs and roses. — 6 years ago
Delicious dessert wine between port and Madeira- not as sweet as the latter. It’s delicious! — 6 years ago
This Sicilian Grillo has a soapy, earthy nose that leaps from the glass, obscuring the mango and apricot fruit aromas. It is uncompromisingly mineral-driven. The palate is also full of the earth from which it comes, with a savory salinity that runs through the white wines of the Italian islands. The wine has great structure, with acidity enough to handle most food pairings that come to mind for a white wine. — 9 years ago

#westsicilywine A little bit oaky but still elegant and good. — 11 years ago
Forget contemporary Marsala. Here is the closest, modern relative of the ancestral wine made in Marsala wine region, the Perpetuum. Stellar. — 11 years ago
