Excellent value and nearly everything you want in an entry level Oregon Pinot noir. A bit darker and more robust than I expected, and at 13.7% labeled abv. But quite balanced with darker red berries, some spice / chocolate notes, and slightly noticeable tannins. Lacking just a bit of acid on the finish for the freshness I’d love. — 5 years ago
Dry, complex, dynamic food pairing — 5 years ago
B50!! Crisp, fresh, elegant, long finish. Greatest American sparkler. Matches any champagne in this price range. Delicious. Wine Spectator 95 points rating seems reasonable (Tim Fish). — 6 years ago
Wow. A new world Pinot that isn't over fruited to death? GREAT Willamette valley wine, went with duck perfectly. — 7 years ago
Wonderful organic wine from Trader Joe’s. Fruity. — 8 years ago
Really enjoy this one. Lots going on. — 11 years ago
heavy pencil shavings and cigar smoke on the nose. black olive and green bell pepper too. color is definitely what you’d expect in a 20 year old wine. palate is consistent with nose, very bordeaux-lite. heavy cigar box. a lot of olive and herb tapenade character. some black pepper on the finish too. very savory overall. — 3 years ago
Opulent and complex. Green apple, peach, a bit pipe apple, brioche, fresh bread dough, chalk, sea shells, and hint of toasted nuts. Savory and crisp at the same time. Splendid acidity. Super energetic mousse, though lacking a bit refinement.
Base wine is 2011, disgorged 2018. This and the Bollinger Special Cuvée are two of my favorite NV Champaign from larger houses. With 40% reserved wine averaged 10 year old, the CH Brut Reserve no doubt is a better value. — 5 years ago
Bought this in 2014 from Lsat Bottle. Should have bought more, it was a steal at the time and it has gotten even better in the last 5 years. Not too acidic, good amount of yeast, and overall excellent sparkling wine. 69% Pinot Noir, 31% Chardonnay — 6 years ago
Needed a little time after opening up but super refreshing once it did. Crisp. Bit of funk. Apples. — 8 years ago
A surprisingly great red - as others have said. A very drinkable wine, but of smokiness to it, bold and quite red fruity. — 8 years ago
Crushable. Great summertime wine. — 9 years ago

I love trying and exploring wines, but then I open this and wonder why I just don’t drink this forever. So fresh, so pretty, good acidity, tannin, and fruit, all of it balanced. Year after year this is my favorite broc wine. — 4 years ago
Beautiful wine. Apparently we drank it a bit young, which once pointed out, you can see. It’s bright, yet focused. Classic bready, biscuity nose with good citrus (green apple and lemon), nice subtle spice and minerality too. — 5 years ago
medium reddish purple, medium tears; cherry, raspberry, vanilla, hints of smoke and cloves; red fruit, bitter chocolate, long finish; medium body, high acidity, light tannins, 13.9% ABV; this is the biggest production and lowest priced of all the winery's vineyard designates, real bargain from a classic Willamette Valley vineyard; $37 — 5 years ago
Slightly mineraly & tart with a semi-dry green apple fruity finish. I probably am describing this completely wrong as I am no connoisseur so don’t listen to me, this is really only for my own personal reference. My new fav, it’s 🔥 — 6 years ago
A full-body Pinot! Deep Ruby with berry aromas, floral and garden spice. On the palate ripe strawberry and dried cherry fruit with vanilla spice and cedar notes. The wine is well structured, silky smooth tannins, balanced acidity carry the wine to a lingering spicy finish. Very Nice! — 6 years ago
Dan Goldfield always said he preferred to drink his Rued Vineyard Chardonnay after 5 years and now I can see why. Everything is balanced and in place. Flowers, lemon peel and touch of vanilla. — 8 years ago
Light and bright. A little too light for me. Black fruit. Red cherry. Not as robust as previous vintages, if I recall correctly but still solid. Loring consistently delivers. — 8 years ago
Super smooth and mellow, great mouthfeel and a nice finish. Juicy. — 9 years ago
About as close to Condrieu as I've seen Cali get. Lots of gardenias and tropicals mixed with a classic peachiness and solid structure. — 10 years ago
