Medium bodied, tiny touch on the sweeter side but still dry. It is a rosé. — 10 years ago
Took FOREVER to open up, but after 4 hours it started to sing.. Dense, dark fruit and a distinct stony minerality and chewy structure made way for rounded tannins and pretty long finish. If anything, I'd like a bit more "mountain fruit personality" but I'm getting greedy for only $30.. Great bottle. — 11 years ago

Infanticide. Served with the pasta course at the Charlie Bird pop up in Aspen. — 10 years ago
Dark ruby in the glass with a nose full of tobacco, vanilla and blackberry pie! Dark and brooding, the palate is loaded with dark cherry, black currant and blackberry with a touch of cloves, nutmeg and black pepper. Tannins are soft and smooth and the finish is long with hints of dark chocolate vanilla and smoke. — 11 years ago

Blind tasting, wine number 4, bag number 3. Bright red and clear. Love the nose, black olives, cherries and hummus. Moderate tannins (6.5/10), and moderate body. Nicely integrated between the size of the body and tannins, but would love to try this in a few years by then hopefully the little bit of heat wears off. Nice amount of dark fruits as well. Lingering finish but is smoother than bottle number 5 and 6. My third favorite of the night. — 10 years ago
