So good! Had it while in Montana for the Campbell Tournament. Brad brought it up. — 8 years ago
Bottle showed well. Balanced with integrated tannins. Predominant black cherry with only a touch of tartness. Gentle baking spices , black tea and forest floor. — 8 years ago
Opened up nicely after a few hours. A great wine. — 10 years ago
Methinks there's more than a bit of Campbell in this Pinot. Nice. — 10 years ago

Quite green on the nose with spice and blackberry. Full bodied, if not slightly rearward with the kind of tannins that stick the inside of your lips to your teeth. Smokey oaky. 94/100 by Campbell Mattinson. If you've been disappointed by its predecessors, give this vintage a go. — 8 years ago

From a VIP tasting with Dane Campbell at Zaca Mesa, 5 vintages of Bkack Bear, this was my clear favorite out of a stellar field. Perhaps the greatest domestic Syrah I've ever tasted. Sublime, softened tannin, still vervet and full of life. Fruit, umami, earth for days. So damned good! Still 5 years in it. Eric and Clay killed this one!! — 9 years ago
Summer evening favorite! Adam Campbell knows his Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir!

Refreshing, nice balance and fruit. Mouth-watering Chard that makes you reach for another glass. Incredible value at under $20 — 10 years ago
Full bodied, black fruit, cocoa and mocha hints with baking spices. Lingering flavor, rich and strong. — 8 years ago

Wow In a flight of chateau montelena and caymus 85s this drop kicked them out of the room. Hints of Brett but adds to the complexity of black olive, camphor, Dried fruits and herbs. Patrick Campbell made so many great wines and does not get enough credit this wine sings, bravo. — 8 years ago
Can't believe I'm almost done with this case @Gibson Campbell @Kelly Urbanik #liwine @wine — 9 years ago

After seeing James Maynard Keenan's documentary "Blood Into Wine" it was time to try a couple of their vintages. Luckily the Campbell Liquor Store in St. Albert had a few bottles :) — 11 years ago

Really digging the scents of cherry, pie spice, and roses. Strangely similar to the potpourri pot on our powder room toilet, but that's where the similarities end and I'm truly enjoying this in a much different manner. Acids are in the forefront followed by some medium weight cherry/ripe strawberry pie spice. With time takes on enhanced complexities. Good stuff. — 8 years ago
