Simply stunning! Gently sweet, enveloped by a complex bouquet of walnuts, christmas cake, butter, toast, praline and warm spices with a distinct saline touch, and a sumptous yet not heavy texture. Like drinking liquid salted praline. — 9 years ago
My first en Rama sherry. It was very unique. It had that unfiltered mouth feel to it, sweet, nutty, and it grew on me over the month I kept the bottle refrigerated. Excellent!

Dried currents & honey. Dessert in a bottle. Enjoy in small doses. Delicious. — 10 years ago
Mahogany color with molasses, caramel, espresso, bittersweet chocolate and subtle baking spice aromas. On the palate it's full bodied, viscous, and very persistent with a supple mouth feel that's beautifully balanced with a penetrating acidity that keep it from being cloying and persistent with very good acidity that keeps it from being cloying and provides balance. It shows very sweet flavors of molasses, honey-dipped figs, dates, caramel, and baking spice nuanced citrus note with a kiss of oxidation that adds to its allure and complexity. Een zeer welkome afwisseling voor combinatie met kazen. Slechts halfzoet (in tegenstelling tot de Pedro Ximénez) maar daardoor een zeer goede combi met vette en romige kazen! — 8 years ago

Every year I look forward to our little allocation of these beauties from Jerez. The wine has such a giving nose of flor and white fruit that it seems almost like it would be sweet. In the mouth this is all chalky cut, certainly one of the driest wines on the planet that can still provide so much pleasure. It was fatally easy to drink with tuna stuffed peppers! — 10 years ago

An intriguing nose full of exotic spice, ripe black fruit and a touch of something. On the palate with nice roundness and great balance with juicy, round tannins. Good length and nice complexity. A very, very nice wine. — 8 years ago

Cant get much better than this. Unless youre getting some tangy sheep's cheese out to go with it... Well worth booking and visiting the bodega in Jerez too. Artesanal small-scale production with a personalised tour. — 10 years ago
