Not a Rose. This easy drinking blend of Grenache/Syrah was a delightful find under $20. Check it out definitely. — 4 years ago
My sister, mom and I enjoying one of the last remnants of my dad’s wine collection. He passed 15 years ago, but this vintage Burgundy from the year my parents were married was special. The wine had a unique, aged taste that is not for everyone. It was very sherry-like. Otherwise, there were Raisins, leather, and plums on the palate. Sweet plums and tobacco on the nose. An enjoyable experience! — 5 years ago

So different than the Les Charmots. Nose is more ethereal and layered. Cherry and cherry flower but it is so lacey and nuanced. Gorgeous. Incredible florals. Pastille. Sweet raspberry. Just stunning. So delicate. Some BBQ and smoke as well. Palate has a painfully sweet intensity and incredible concentration yet remains light on its feet. Gorgeous purity and wonderful ripe tannins. Wow the freshness in this wine is off the charts. This is more tannic than the Charmots. After some air the nose is crazy. Such detail. This estate reminds me of a more polished accessible Billard-Gonnet. — 6 years ago
Medium intensity, rich ruby red, floral on the nose along with red fruit, earthy mushroom undertones and slight hints of chocolate. In the palate light mouth feel, full of fruit, strawberries and cherry. No to light tannin, medium acid compliments the earthy after taste. Amazing with goats cheese, cherry tomatoes on pane do casa or with quince paste. — 6 years ago
Excellent...soo snooothhh.. initially, iron , meat, leather hints . It got smoother and milder by the minute but it kept that pleasant and interesting taste and aromas.. — 6 years ago

10/90 PN/Chard. 2nd bottling from Gonnet. Yeasty, dried cherry on nose. round, fine soft mousse. so gentle on the palate. nice weight- any RS is undetectable. — 3 years ago
[No longer a Cotes du Rhône but now an AOC in its own right and deservedly so] Excellent purity with a noticeable Syrah component. Voluptuous and refined at the same time, this is absolutely delightful. — 6 years ago
After 6 years this is starting to really strut its stuff and live up the exalted status of this great 1er Cru. Nose of lemon zest, lemon curd, mineral, kiss of oak, a little muted for now as a bit cold but palate is unreal. Huge density and richness with terrific acidity and freshness. Massively mineral finish with serious structure and concentration. Finish is compact and comes across as massive yet closed. Very pure and just superb quality. Very complex finish and really all the way through.Stunning showing. Great terroir. Wish i would have waited longer and i rarely say that. — 6 years ago
Very refreshing, lighter Chardonnay. Mineral notes. No oak — 7 years ago
Enough Mourvèdre to present as lightly oaked with good spice and funk. Tannins are abundant with plenty of compelxity on the palette. Wonderful value gigondas. — 7 years ago
