Rich, ripe nose. Light on the palate. Not the longest finish. Maybe going down the other side of the hill. Nice wine, nonetheless. — 9 years ago
Great Paso Robles blend. Great nose showing currants, cigar box, star anise and oak. Wonderful fruit forward flavors of dark cherry, black currant, licorice and a very subtle hint of earthiness. The tannins are extremely well integrated and lush. This is a very nicely integrated wine with lots of aging potential. This is the iconic PR wine and does not disappoint. Cheers! — 10 years ago
Super cloudy. Some fun stuff going on here though. #bordeaux #moutonrothschild — 10 years ago

Young but going to be great. Hood for at least six years. — 8 years ago
I love how in Spain you can go to a restaurant order a half bottle of Rioja and a 14 year old wine comes out aged perfectly. This is drinking great right now and can't imagine it's going to get any better. — 9 years ago
Bit to young still will keep my others in the cellar.. Looking forward for next year — 10 years ago
2009 - This was much better than I expected because it was new to me. It's very smooth, but still has a lot going on and the finish is also smooth instead of high tannins.
The color is a beautiful, deep red and actually went
very well with a nice, meaty pizza. — 10 years ago
Tasted upon release, very impressed...looking forward to trying again in a few years. — 13 years ago

Juicy and forward which levels off after some decanting. Best wine from Daou. — 10 years ago
Fruit forward, deep red purple color. Mouth feel is awesomely smooth all the way through the finish. This is a favorite of mine! — 10 years ago
2011- gift from a friend. Excellent structure, tannins are very mellow but alcohol is still very hot. Fruit forward, possibly oxidized fruit (port-like fruit). — 11 years ago
