Very balanced fruit and smooth finish. Given the price, it's a pretty good value wine (R105/$8). — 9 years ago

A very good bottle of wine and even better for the price. Price v quality makes it one of the best values in my opinion. — 10 years ago

Late Harvest Petit Manseng. Candied pineapple, candied mango, candy papaya and a honey crème brûlée flavor with the superior acidity that Petit Manseng is known for. This is an utterly beautiful wine. — 12 years ago
Fresh cut garden hose, lemon rind and fresh herbs. Incredibly fresh. — 7 years ago
Incredible lively aromas of mint, ripe melon, stone fruit and juicy citrus. Palate has great fruit but is driven by salinity and blazing acidity. This rosé, one my favorites of all time, is like a dead-of-summer fresh watermelon salad with mint and feta, with some EVOO and salt and pepper. That, or Gatorade for those of us who don’t really play sports. — 7 years ago
Really good!! — 9 years ago
The pale golden straw color is appealing, while the nose certainly isn’t scaring anyone away. Clean earth notes define the apple, papaya and lime aromas beautifully. The palate shows off-dry pear, apple and Meyer lemon flavors on a bed of acidity. Finishing long, it’s the earth and citrus that stays around after the sip. The wine’s body makes it a lot more versatile that just “salads and sipping.” Winemaker Markus Niggli recommends you pair it with anything off the grill. — 10 years ago

Again I'm back in heaven Constantia Glen. This wine is a master love it — 10 years ago
Ahhhh, a Provence Rose! It's a very warm night...82F and I'm sitting by my fire...so the perspiration is accumulating and I'm drinking a refreshing Rose that is perfect for a night like this! This Chateau La Moutete Grande Reserve is peach colored, with notes of very light florals, watermelon, and a Sauv Blanc-ness to it that reminds me of grapefruit on the nose. on the palate I get strawberry, black licorice, and a hint of basil. This wine is slightly acidic, especially on the finish (again, reminding me of a soft Sauv Blanc). No tannins, and a grape-fruity finish at the end. Even though my beloved Red Sox are losing to the Skankees tonight, I'm enjoying this fantastic wine! — 10 years ago
Enjoyed with the charcuterie platter at culina #yeg Great tannin to handle all the sodium and protein. Dark and rich. Full on the palate. — 11 years ago
Started some early serious spring cleaning this year - I felt like Shackleton when I saw this buried under who knows what! — 12 years ago

Fabulous wine with the amazing tropical fruit that you would expect from Petit Manseng, finished almost dry. One of the best white wines ever made in the state of Virginia. — 12 years ago

Under appreciated in the extreme - Laurel Glen produces superb and distinctive Cabernet Sauvignon from Sonoma Mountain. This is their Lot44 - essentially a reserve version. Find some! — 7 years ago
