Herbal red fruit, menthol — 4 months ago
A serious balsamicy bottling that needs air and food. Critically hard to beat. — 7 months ago
Muscular and powerful, but quite approachable. Will gain more complexity, I’m sure, but delicious anyway. — 5 years ago
Tasted blind. Dark red and opaque. Notes of tart cherries, earth, molasses, some wood, and a hint of VA that blew off. Rich fruit in the mouth. Monolithic though, and very quiet compared to the diva 64 Giacosa that is singing next to it. Perhaps it was the less air time that this had. What a treat to taste two great 64 Barolos side by side, brought brown-bagged by two different people. — 6 years ago
Aug 2025: aeration in open bottle for 2 hours while sipping. Great representation of Nebbiolo, traditional style, Barolo-like. Very deep and powerful, superb. Still potential for further aging — 9 years ago

Do not drink a lot of Barbaresco. however this came across very well with fruits and tannins still doing their job. think it has a few more years left in it — 4 years ago

An experience. Intense morello and crimson fruit with lithe structure and a mushroomy edge. Memorable meal. — 6 months ago
