Medium bodied with zesty citrus and underripe stone fruit. Crisp, clean, and petrol-y. — 6 years ago
Balanced but fruit is front and center through to the finish with a soft velvety tongue. The bourbon barrels come through with a deliciously harmonious, and unique surprise. — 7 years ago

Dangerous. Ice cold, crisp, just fruity enough but dry nice nice. Similar to summer in a bottle. Gosh I love drinking wine and I'm not ashamed to admit it — 8 years ago
The 2021 Chardonnay (Russian River Valley) is super-expressive right out of the gate. Tangerine oil, lemon confit, chamomile, spice and lightly honeyed notes all run through this creamy, inviting Russian River Chardonnay from Gary Farrell. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, July 2024)

Licorice, acid, nice tannins. A little pucker afterwards. Good wine with dinner. Very good, but maybe not worth the $40 price tag. 2016 — 6 years ago

Sipping Fine Wine
Jack and Jamie Davies revived the historic vineyards and cellars in 1965. Today, their son Hugh, continues their mission. 100% Chardonnay pale straw color with aromas of stone fruits, floral and citrus notes. A terrific crisp sparkler with crisp apple, peach and lemon flavors, fine mousse with tiny bubbles. Tangy acidity on a long finish ending with a yeasty creamy character. Nice! — 8 months ago
