Looks like a hipster company from Brooklyn (anything named X & Y with block letter font and simple labeling), but tastes like a great cab from Cali. — 8 years ago
Each week, my 2.5yr old twins have "homework" which requires picking household items that start with a given letter. This week is "I" (there's no "I" in team, or kicking off many household items that would fit in a paper bag and don't melt!). Anywho, It Inspired me to pop this reasonably priced late harvest (Icewine), which Is sweet, refreshing, and even elegant for a very reasonable price. I also included a DVD of Ice Castles - who doesn't love that movie?!?! That and Splendor in the Grass - they get me every. single. time. — 9 years ago
If this wine could write a letter I'd ask it to be my pen pal. — 10 years ago
Opening a bottle of wine is like reading a letter or watching a photo, but in four dimensions. It's like a time travel. Here we have 1998 in Piedmont captured in a bottle. And it's so beautiful. The flowers and cherries on the nose, the lovely acid and tannins that follows. For a moment, we are there: In Alba, 1998. — 10 years ago
100%silvagnier, skin press touch of Gewürztraminer grape skin, this is very refreshing wine recommend for summer time. Mineral and sour:)) — 12 years ago

A great bottle to start celebrating the official promotion letter... somehow tastes even better than I know it is! Great value for a 2002 Cab. — 7 years ago
Mix of black berries and currants, peppery and herbs, and some letter notes along with a hint of coffee. Velvety and intense.
Full-bodied and well balanced and accentuated licorice. Medium tannins and high in alcohol 14.5% alc/vol — 8 years ago
mental note: reds starting withe the letter "b" are good. — 9 years ago
Call me a heathen but iAd never heard of this wine before. Strangely, I have never been disappointed with Italian wines that begin with the letter B, this one included. It's rich and tart without tannins, straight from the popping of the cork. Leave it to sit and it gains body and legs. Truly a wine worth as outing with cheese and good company. Enjoy! — 9 years ago

Aromas of black cherries and raspberries, cassis, oak, and a bit of damp earth. Medium body, vibrant acid, with a savory, long finish. More Bordeaux than Napa. 13.3abv A balanced, well made wine with pleasing concentration and structure, which definitely bodes well for the long run. — 11 years ago

Wine 10. Burnt orange. Caramel nose. Eucalyptus. Leather, tar, mocha. One of my faves and the wine of the night for many. Didnt think it was as old as the color showed. It was my contribution. Bought 4 for my son’s birth year. Was a special night so popped one to check. I’m quite optimistic. — 7 years ago
The aroma has a woody complexity with a hint of strong berries. Fantastic wine along side of mushroom risotto. Being brought up from Marlborough, this wine highly shows the true talent and sophistication of the natural beauties of the region. — 7 years ago
Surprisingly austere when first opened and was a little much for the spinach and mushroom pizza. Three days letter and it still possesses good structure and acidity. Dark cherry notes are abundant with a hint of raspberry. Fantastic wine at $10. — 8 years ago
Can still almost taste it days letter. That distinctive and memorable. — 8 years ago
Work has been hectic. Needed some me time tonight. F it (or no, F is also very good, but in this case I "I" 'd it. I I'd it. Id it? Oh F it you know what I mean!!!) Orin Swift letter (location) bottles are some of the best value bottles out there. Italy doesn't disappoint - $16 well-spent. Other me time highlights tonight: sushi, massage w/ a focus on occipitalis (oh yes....), my new fav JT jam on the radio, and being giddy about Chelsea's new Netflix show premier tonight. Oh, and this post was brought to you by the letter I — 9 years ago

What a great blend. As it opens up it somewhat detiorates, with less fruit and more tartness. Great for steaks. — 10 years ago
