40% Syrah, 40% Mourvèdre, 20% Grenache “Young Vines” 14.5% abc
This is a lovely Côte-du-Rhône-style red blend, albeit one with more syrah than grenache. Deep ruby, pretty black fruit, firm acidity. Great fruit presence with enough earthiness to give it some complexity. Plenty of acidity to make it a versatile pairing with food. Great restaurant wine. — 8 years ago
Medium brown; aromas of dried fruit and nuts; lusciously sweet — 9 years ago
— 11 years ago

Medium bodied, good concentration and length, with floral and melon flavours. A very good vibrant wine. Conceptually somewhere between a Godello and a Chenin Blanc. — 6 years ago

Really interesting. Tastes like an old-style Rioja. Good oak and much better and more Rioja-Esque the second day. Thanks to Susannah at Flatiron Wines for the recommendation! — 11 years ago
Savory nose with green olives and leather, a little compost, and old suitcase; sour cherry; bright and long acid, soft tannins, and pleasant astringency. Unsuspectingly delicious. Exactly what I want out of a weekday red. — 11 years ago
