Really drinkable white with hints of pear and light acidity. Great for summer sipping — 7 years ago
This Albariño shows lemon, lime and lanolin on the nose, with a whiff of apricot. The pale color is that of golden straw, and the palate comes forth with a mighty acidity and a mouthful of green apples, on the tart side. Minerality makes a big play, and the finish is medium-long with a citrus zestiness. — 7 years ago

2013, Benito Santos, Igrexario De Saiar, Albarino. I really like Benito Santos wines. Golden yellow: tart apples, citrus, minerality, salinity. Everything that I want with pan seared white fish. — 10 years ago

Nicely balanced with both tangy brightness and crisp saline finish. Lots of ripe citrus and a little round peachiness on the mid palate. — 7 years ago
Note to @Delectable Wine the winery is pronounced “Aranthia” but spelled “Arancia”. A Spanish ringer for Chablis (some people sense Chenin leanings) and a good one at that. Tropical flowers and citrus on the nose, but the palate is energized with lemon, mineral, bright acid, and some stone fruit bitterness. Very light on its feet, but finishes somewhat longer. Crazy good for a BTG selection. — 8 years ago
Never heard of this grape. Very nice heavy body. Apricot? Mandarin? Enjoyed the wine. — 8 years ago
