Fizzy cherry cola, funky and super high acidity. A total buzz bomb, really wild tasting. Honeysuckle and pickled strawberry and balsamic. Medium bodied. — 7 years ago

Ripe cherry nose with subtle earthy notes. Just a hint of the merde. Really interesting, a little funky. — 8 years ago
Really needs some time in the decanter, wound up super tight. Funky earthy nose with sour cherry and topsoil, very fleshy, rustic body of blue and red fruits, a bit of red bell pepper, bakers chocolate, loads of pencil shavings, a faint suggestion of spruce. Really crunch skeleton with serious, almost saline minerality. Fruit fades before the minerals and earth. Really complex. Give it plenty of air and a long ponder. — 7 years ago
Cherries. Super fun. A bit funky. Great with our mutton. Would happily drink this all the time in the summer... or anytime, really. — 7 years ago
Funky, barnyard nose, but also sweet, like lily. Saddle and graphite. No tannins at all. Delicious grenache. — 8 years ago
Pretty amazing texture. Super silky. A little cleaner than the cote du py & less barnyard (Brett)funky aromatics. Dark, rich layers of cherry fruit. A lot of brettanomyces here but still very enjoyable. 2014 vintage — 8 years ago
Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil... very cab francy, very pencily, organic, natural (with little SO2) to keep it sexy... high acidity, light-medium body, funky feel on the tongue, lots if cherries, with slightly tannic dry finish... a very pleasant surprise and an interesting bottle design! — 8 years ago

A little too funky. My tastes are changing. Points for style, depth. — 8 years ago
Very funky on the nose, after decanting funk mellowed out. Acidic, mineral forward, barnyard juice. Geuze-like — 7 years ago

Enjoyed this on the patio in Houston on a cooler evening, 60s. A heavy Grenache. Tasted like a funky Pinot Noir. Def would drink again. — 8 years ago
Funky and tart but surprisingly light. Pairs well with a variety of food. — 8 years ago
