Fruity, earthy, and well balanced. Paired great with the shaking beef — 7 years ago
Delicate, low alcohol, highly expressive nose of violets, cherries, cinnamon and clay earth. On the palate, tart red and blue fruit, floral and peppery. Tastes a bit like a cross between Beaujolais and lighter style northern Rhone. Drinks every bit as lovely as that sounds. — 8 years ago
This was exactly what I wanted!! Pepper & violets!! — 8 years ago
I think this is a great #chardonnay this is just what I look for in a #whiteburgundy good balance between oak and fruit. Crispy and luscious at the same time at a reasonable price — 9 years ago

Pascal has such an interesting story and I should have taken a picture of all 3 wines we had of his tonight...that being said - it is wines like these that make me want to drink champagne every day! — 11 years ago

Cornas is & always will be one of my absolutely favorite Appellations in whole France. What a stunning showing from Frank Balthazar. The nose shows a beautiful melange of lush dark cherries, smoked meat, violets, crushed stone and a hint of thyme. On the palate this guy is so well balanced with a beautiful integrated acidity. Very round, fine, long finish with a lovely "graphite" touch on the back end. Can play with a lot of different food. Worth every damn penny. — 7 years ago

Delicious light red that’s perfect chilled. Packed with flavor yet really light and wonderful. Had for the first time in Paris and just found at a local wine retailer for $16. One of my new go-to reds. My wife, who rarely likes red wine also enjoys this. — 7 years ago
