Drank after a Boon Geueze (which I enjoyed) and it was far better, more refined and delectable. — 5 years ago
Sour for sure. A bit reminiscent of lambic framboise. — 5 years ago

C’est du beau Chateauneuf-du-pape en jeunesse. C’est épicé, fruité, cerise et framboise avec des notes de violette, de prune et de garrigue. C’est assez puissant et doté d’une belle longueur ! — 4 years ago
Tart razor sharp cherries. Would’ve enjoyed a bit more width. — 6 years ago

2005 vintage at Logis de la Cadene in Saint Emilion. Pale ruby hue - edging to garnet. Full concentration of red berries, raspberries and strawberry, florals - white flowers, violets and roses, white pepper, spices. Vanilla essence with air. Huge complexity. Still remarkably youthful - not the typical savoury character of older Rayas's. On the palate, a joy. Medium acidity, medium plus body, medium plus alcohol and full concentration. Medium tannins - round and ripe. A textural wine - coats the palate. The flavours are changing on a minute by minute basis - framboise and spice, floral and deep. Very long finish. Superb. Drink now until 2030+ — 9 years ago
Tasted at the producer, this is a primeur / pleasure to drink young vintage. 100% Cabernet-Franc. Light purple color, clear and limpid. Raspberry and herbaceous nose. Supple mouth blending raspberry, notes of cedar, cypress.
Slightly acidity, but the typical Touraine mineral structure, reminiscent of slate, pencil lead, or charcoal, bringing a refreshing salivating tension. On salads, aperitif-dinners, cold meats, cheese pastas, it's easy to drink, and pleasant.
— 4 years ago
Falling in love with this wine again. It was brilliant a few years ago, and I was worried it could be at peak now, but 9 years of age and still going strong! This is surely one of the best values I have ever found @ €6 during Paris foire du Vin. Easily could fetch €60+ in a different bottle. Undergrowth and oak influence is strong and balanced. I feel like you can almost taste the earthy terroir's influence. Notes of 🍒, cassis, framboise. Thick, medium to full bodied and solid acidity. Potential for aging a bit more. — 6 years ago

A couple extra years of age on it. Tastes almost candied. It hits all those Napa chard notes. Well done. I would be intrigued by aging this further but it was fun to drink this with those extra years. Hungarian oak! — 7 years ago
