Wonderful - all things French in honor of our friends across the pond — 9 years ago
2011 14% alcohol, 90% tannat, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, earthy, dry black cherry, blackberry, toasting flavors, aged in new oak, med+ acid, high tannins, full body pairs well with shish kebab 🍇🍷❤️ interesting fact: cuvée Charles de Batz , a real name of Musketeer d'Artagnan. In his honor this wine is made. — 9 years ago
Probably one of my favorite bottles of wine. — 9 years ago
In honor of International Grenache Day... — 10 years ago
In honor of Washington Wine Month, a wine from a premier winery. For a nearly 12 year old wine, it tastes fresh and vibrant. Perfumed with blackberry, cassis and hints of cedar. On the tongue, it's silky smooth and elegant with acidity that suggests it could age another 3-5 more years. Incredible stuff. — 10 years ago
On this Friday I am trying this Pinot Noir from the Willamette Valley. As the name says "Et Fille" or and daughter to honor my lovely Daughter Danielle the light of my life. The nose on this wine is a beautiful strawberry and red raspberry. On the palate gives a nice strawberry, minerality, though just a bit weak on the backend. There is some oak right on the backend. Nice all together. — 11 years ago
Wine from south Africa in honor of the great Nelson Mandela. First ever South African wine! — 11 years ago
#omg one of the best chards we've had in a while. #morlet does an amazing job, honey, caramel, and butter but not overly heavy despite the 14.2% alc lvl. #amazing #drinkbuyreapeat Opened in honor of my princesses. — 9 years ago

Great wine in honor of Baxter — 9 years ago
2002 vintage. All meunier in honor of Rene Collard the Marne Valley meunier master. Great acid structure, but with broadness from the grape, barrel development, and aging on the cork. This is labeled de Meric, but it's the same single-foeder production as later disgorgments labeled Ginsburg. — 9 years ago
Great champagne in honor of my six year wedding anniversary. Limestone, bright acid, green apple. Yum. If only I could drink like this every day! — 10 years ago
Honey, apricot, jasmine/fruit blend tea, sweet spices. Approachable, smooth, delicate. Less creamy in texture compared to Rose. Quite rare to find blends in New Zealand. Cuvée name is in honor of previous owner who is Italian. — 11 years ago
100 points! Absolute perfection in every sense. Mesmerising! An honor to taste, and in the company of the great Jesús Barquín! — 11 years ago

In honor of game 6, I am opening this bottle from @David A Lentine to help an anxious cubs fan get through the next couple of hours. Thanks to @LM Segal for the decant time heads up to align with game time. I am an hour in and going to let it sit a bit more to soften. @Paul T brought the big guns with Kershaw, but the cubs have too many sticks. Thanks for bolting to Orlando @Daryl Calhoun - no invite?!? #iaintafraidofnogoat Thanks again @David A Lentine for sharing this one. TN Update - working on 3 hours decanted and it is starting to shine. Soft on the palette with black cherries, strong raspberries, and vanilla. I have to add very juicy - haven't had something with this mouthwatering effect before. On the nose raspberry and flower box come through on this ruby gem. — 9 years ago
My favorite California Cab producer. Had the honor of pouring beside him in NYC, and touring his vineyard with Rebecca just before he passed. The closest thing to 1970's best cabs and incredible value. 2006 is lush full of everything you could hope for, earth, blackberry, leather, and a hint of smoke. A little hint of almost cognac on the finish, smooth and balanced finish. Acid still great and plenty of age left. Glad I have a lot more to enjoy — 9 years ago
A French Malbec, combining the love for Malbec and Cote du Rhone. Full bodied and heavy but a light flavor that lays on top. Drinking in honor of baby Henry's entrance to the world! — 10 years ago
