Intriguing experimental white wine. Spain in origin with Portuguese and Spanish winemaking partnership. Mineral, almond, white blossoms and apple skin notes. Fresh on the palate ans sherry like in flavor without the bitterness from the flor of a Fino sherry. Every year I look forward to our little allocation of these beauties from Jerez. The wine has such a giving nose of flor and white fruit that it seems almost like it would be sweet. In the mouth this is all chalky cut, certainly one of the driest wines on the planet that can still provide so much pleasure. It was fatally easy to drink with tuna stuffed peppers! — 9 years ago
