Delicious gift from Julie D! A rose I could drink every day! — a year ago
The QPR across the Daumas lineup has always astounded me, & this rose sparkling is no different: fine mouse & a clean, detailed palate, all fresh cut strawberries. Nice balance too between dry & fruitiness,& just enough heft to carry this past a toast into a first course. — 3 years ago

Went well with fondue. Sweet and balanced, crisp and clear like sipping on an apple. — 5 months ago
Ripe blueberry, thick and sticky. Chocolate and mocha finish. 14 years and it still got it. — 7 months ago
70% Grenache; 30% Syrah — 9 months ago
As one can expect for a Dave Phinney wine, this is rich and ripe, but it has so much more to offer at year 14. Blueberry, fig, tobacco, cracked pepper, dried mushroom, and slight hint of barnyard. On the palate it’s juicy yet soft and ultra smooth. The finish is long, candied, and earthy.
My 2nd and last bottle. At its peak. — 2 years ago
Nose is vanilla ice cream and and raspberries. Tastes beautiful at first with more fruity raspberry and vanilla cream goodness. As it develops it gets drier and more leathery. Delicious. — 4 years ago

Better than my last bottle. More elegant and integrated. Med+ ruby red, though still faintly transparent.
The nose is pronounced with red raspberry, wild strawberry, charcoal, light notes of wood smoke, camphor, some notes if sandalwood and sweet violets.
The palate is med bodied, with fine grained med- tannin, medium acidity, with med+ palate flavors that are weightless and med+ in length. This is VERY good and best ever for me of this cuvee. — 5 months ago
