Clear ruby purple. Shy nose. Palate of toasty cherry, black tea, and birch. Medium acidity and medium tannins. Where the standard Pn makes a good sipper, this reserve is definitely a food wine. A great budget PN for the Thanksgiving or Christmas table where (after a decanting) it should shine.

Interesting French Pinot, but had way too much spice. Fruit on nose and palate, tad acidic, fine tannins, crisp quality, medium ending with a jolt of pepper spice. Pass on this one. Tasting Sample.

Very sweet, jammy, big nose of overripe boysenberry and blackberry fruit. Well balanced acidity, black cherry, and a long fruity finish with subtle oak and a hint of tingly spice.

Pretty light, standard pinot. It does lack some of that back-end earthy/funky flavor but it's nice.
