A great light red to drink after cleaning out closets on Labor Day Weekend! Found it in an Italian grocery in Annapolis. Paired well with hatch chile mac n cheese! — 7 years ago
Had it over a lot of mountain cheese. Really good. — 8 years ago
Robust viognier based blend that is heavy enough to please chardonnay drinkers but breezy enough to please the casual wine-o who wants something for a nice summer day on the porch. Loved it! — 9 years ago

So this rating is attached to a rating for a Rose Blend. We did not have that wine. Ours was a red, and I believe it was a blend because there was no other description of what kind it was.
We got this at Trader Joe’s and it was a French wine. It was very smooth and drinkable and balanced, yet dry. Tannins were not overpowering. — 5 years ago
Tremendous QpR. The Perrin family doesn’t make a bad wine. — 6 years ago
Väldigt charmig och tillgänglig syrah-stil. Vitpeppar, rosor, järn, örter och fina mörka bär. Riktigt härlig juicig munkänsla med väldigt lätt taninstruktur. — 7 years ago

Grown on the north foothills of the Atlas Mtns at 450m.
A bit fruity, but tannin as well. Very nice. — 7 years ago
2013 Vintage. 45% Grenache, 36% Syrah, 18% Mourvèdre, 1% Viognier. 15.4% alcohol. Big, sexy Rhône blend. Tannins have integrated for a silky mouthfeel. Excellent with porcini truffle ravioli with goat cheese and corn sauce. (Variation on this dish at Perbacco in SF) — 7 years ago
One of my favorite wines of all time. Had this last fall, had it in Paris at La Buvette--still has that olive brine funk that I love (it sounds weird but it's really good I promise!) — 8 years ago

Sipping Fine Wine
Founded at end of 1800 when Lavinio Franceschi, Florence land owner, visited the area. Over a century later, Tenuta covers an area of 530 hectares (140 planted with vines; 50 with olive trees). Aged in French oak for 36 months, 100% Sangiovese hand picked from 20-year old vines. A Gem! Deep Ruby. rich berry fruit aromas with complex spice. Palate has rich berry fruit flavors, baked cherry, with tobacco, cacao & subtle spice. Soft tannins, long finish ending with seductive earthy tones. Nice, aged well! — 5 years ago
