Hast 2010 vintage — 8 years ago
We all have that experience that we would love to undergo again, sans the memory, afresh: my first taste of peaty Scotch; the magnificent atmosphere of a Souls game; one’s first orgasm with a loved one; or, encountering a truly great, mature, Burgundy. Wipe the slate clean, let us start again; I’m sure that’s how we all clamor. But all that’s left is to forge on, in search of higher highs and the brighter lights. Nose: starts off tight, with dried, tart raspberries and strawberries, opens up to earth, oak, vanilla later, without overwhelming the fruit. Even a bit of perfumed peaches. Palate: layered light plums, juicy mid-ripe strawberries, gentle and super-silky tannins, extremely luscious mouthfeel. Finish: long, notes of stewed tea, recurrent umami and minerals. Puts the LONG in prolonged. Oh my. Oh. — 9 years ago

Fruity, plums and cherry with a touch of vanilla. Ever so slightly tangy finish. — 13 years ago
Meyer Lemon... — 8 years ago

Dark berry, a bit of funk, and some heat on the nose. Austere berries, a jammy mid palate, and an earthy, lingering finish. All about burgundy. — 9 years ago
Real good especially considering the weak vintage. — 9 years ago
Super perfumed, really flies out of the glass into the nose from across the table. Mild spice and earth with a mild hint of smokiness. Medium tannins with a nice. Smooth roundness. — 9 years ago
The 2012 Chambolle Musigny from #DomaineChristianClerget is really a very pretty wine. It's no wonder that they say the most elegant reds on the #Cotedesnuits are from #chambollemusigny . The wine will only improve with another few years but it was really pretty. It was elegant and aromas of dried raspberry ~ not even. Very succinct and delicate. I get #DarjeelingTea on some great Burgs and off this one too. But it is young and I find too many people make reports on such wines without understanding what the taste profile will be like in 5 years time. What a pity as then it will be georgeous! — 10 years ago
2005. Mellowed a little. Still full throttle and thrilling. — 11 years ago

Not my favorite Spanish wine, but had a good bolder flavor, but it was still light. Would definitely drink it again — 8 years ago
Argentinian blend that absolutely rocked. Second pallet not as intense as that first swirl; but I’m thinking I found my next good everyday $20 wine... Maybe $17... Italian place in Miami had it on the menu for $55... — 9 years ago
Elegant mouthfeel. Light oak integrated well w firmer Shiraz hump on the fin — 9 years ago
This is THE most sour wine I have tasted...and I kind of like it. If you love sour green apple and citrus, you'll enjoy this! Aerated seems to come with less of a bite making for a more smooth feeling on the tongue. It would be BOMB for white sangria. — 10 years ago
One of my favs! — 10 years ago
Good with chocolate — 11 years ago
Happy to make acquaintance with this dark red, tongue pinching, strong bodied Australian. — 11 years ago
