One to save. Too tired to be fancy with describing it. — 6 years ago
Drank at the Fancy Radish on a hot July night. Very refreshing, mineral forward with floral notes. — 7 years ago
The best burger-time sip at Fancy Nancy on Bedford ! Kris recommended it as a fruity balance to the cheesy sauce — 7 years ago
Taste like a fancy Port. — 8 years ago
Despite warnings this might be fading this bottle was in excellent shape and had life ahead of it. Nothing fancy here, just really solid Bordeaux for the price. Deep fruit, cigar box, long finish. Needs some air and still great on day 2. Unmistakably Bordeaux. — 8 years ago
Old world style from California, with a twist. Extra bonus because on Les Claypool ;) my favourite bass hero and fynny guy! — 9 years ago
Classic, rustic Nebbiolo. Nothing fancy, but certainly enjoyed. Needed a lengthy decant which I did not give it. Will be interesting to see how this develops over the next several years. Rating may very well improve. — 5 years ago

continuing the resurrection of drinkable, interesting Zinfandel. nothing fancy, but well balanced and eminently drinkable. — 7 years ago
Cheap but damn good. Not fancy or complex but tastes good. Drink now. — 8 years ago
Pretty good for the price. Nothing fancy but all the classic Tempranillo flavors are here. Great for an everyday drinker. — 9 years ago
Fairly dense red, moderately extracted pigment. Black cherry, black currant, mint and butter aromas. Fairly ripe flavors of cherry, blackberry, black currant in mouth, rounded mouthfeel, slightly tart blackberry and cranberry on finish with seed bitterness and mild skin astringency. Lactic aftertaste. After an hour, white pepper and then, 90 minutes later, cocoa emerges in the finish and aftertaste. After two hours, barrel smoke emerges. Great fruit, nothing too fancy on the winemaking end (perhaps deceptively so) but exactly what I’d want from a Lodi Italian varietal like Barbera, especially if you can decant an hour or two and wait for that white pepper and cocoa to emerge. — 5 years ago
This wine shows typical Bordeaux flavors with Merlot in the lead.Smooth opening with berries and bitter chocolate and a finish that lingers. Medium body which invites the next sip. Nothing fancy but well made. — 7 years ago
Visited the Trefethen villa for the fancy tasting. My favorite was the merlot and this gorgeous 12 year old cab from a magnum. They smartly kept the bottles just out of my reach. I may have been tempted to help myself to one more splash. — 7 years ago
Paired with chicken, rainbow chard, fancy mushrooms, quinoa and rice blend, and sweet potatoes. — 8 years ago
The Dos Cortados is very fine indeed. This bone dry sherry is very much on the amontillado side of palo cortado yet is deep and kaleidoscopically complex. The finish had focus worthy of a Mesnil Champagne and every kind of fancy nut one could imagine. — 8 years ago

The classic London Dry Gin. Not fancy modern and citrus, or herbal. This is about the juniper. Love it. Better than Beefeater IMHO. — 5 years ago
