One to save. Too tired to be fancy with describing it. — 7 years ago
$30 at a fancy restaurant but we both like it. I’d get another bottle here — 8 years ago
Drank at the Fancy Radish on a hot July night. Very refreshing, mineral forward with floral notes. — 8 years ago

Superb structure, opened up v well from being in fancy hotel restaurant marble run decanter. — 8 years ago
continuing the resurrection of drinkable, interesting Zinfandel. nothing fancy, but well balanced and eminently drinkable. — 8 years ago
Unless I win the lottery, one of only ways to try fancy wines like this is to choose lesser vintages. Apparently the 2014 wasn’t one of their best years but that didn’t stop this from being a tasty glass at all. Powerful nose of red meat thrown on a wood-burning grill and equally strong portions of black plum and tea on the tongue. Tannins linger for an encore. — 6 years ago
Fairly dense red, moderately extracted pigment. Black cherry, black currant, mint and butter aromas. Fairly ripe flavors of cherry, blackberry, black currant in mouth, rounded mouthfeel, slightly tart blackberry and cranberry on finish with seed bitterness and mild skin astringency. Lactic aftertaste. After an hour, white pepper and then, 90 minutes later, cocoa emerges in the finish and aftertaste. After two hours, barrel smoke emerges. Great fruit, nothing too fancy on the winemaking end (perhaps deceptively so) but exactly what I’d want from a Lodi Italian varietal like Barbera, especially if you can decant an hour or two and wait for that white pepper and cocoa to emerge. — 6 years ago

Visited the Trefethen villa for the fancy tasting. My favorite was the merlot and this gorgeous 12 year old cab from a magnum. They smartly kept the bottles just out of my reach. I may have been tempted to help myself to one more splash. — 8 years ago
Pretty floral. Roses hips and petals. Flavor has licorice and violets. Complex. Fancy pants. Distinct and delicious. Flavor is nice. — 8 years ago
Paired with chicken, rainbow chard, fancy mushrooms, quinoa and rice blend, and sweet potatoes. — 9 years ago
‘Cool castle bro’ label. Deep red color. Smells like old books, dry cherries and unsweetened chocolate nibs. Flavors are strange with gun-smoke tea, fancy tonic water and berry pies. Plenty dry. Chewy. Complex. Winey, like a Winesap apple. It’s not raisin-y. It could have more depth and bite perhaps, but overall it’s very enjoyable. — 6 years ago
Classic, rustic Nebbiolo. Nothing fancy, but certainly enjoyed. Needed a lengthy decant which I did not give it. Will be interesting to see how this develops over the next several years. Rating may very well improve. — 6 years ago

Lambrusco is the perfect warm weather wine. This has the nose of dirt (that is a good thing) and the palate of lavender, cherry🍒, olives and cured meat. Speaking of cured meat, this fizzy red (serve chilled for optimal perfection) is 👌 with Sopresatta , Finocchiona and Prosciutto. Also, some fancy cheese (dinner is served-you’re welcome💁🏻♀️). Oh and the label is sewn and possibly denim so that’s pretty cool. A.must.try. — 7 years ago
This wine shows typical Bordeaux flavors with Merlot in the lead.Smooth opening with berries and bitter chocolate and a finish that lingers. Medium body which invites the next sip. Nothing fancy but well made. — 8 years ago
Was really smooth and amazing. Not fruity or jammy at all! — 8 years ago
The best burger-time sip at Fancy Nancy on Bedford ! Kris recommended it as a fruity balance to the cheesy sauce — 8 years ago
