Really excellent Chardonnay. Stout, grippy, a bit steely. — 4 years ago
Really pretty. Could mistake this for a Burgundy (Pinot). Sweet and floral, but I guess that is in the name. A slight hint of high toned Brett keeps me from loving this totally — 4 years ago

This was absolutely fantastic. Every once in a while, Adam Tolmach and Fabien Castel cull away a few barrels of something for these Special Bottlings. Bought this at the winery a number of years ago, and it is awesome. A totally underrated winery in my opinion, I’d put this version of grenache up against pretty much anything coming out of CA (or southern Rhone, for that matter). Adam used to get criticized years ago because he left his grapes on the vine “too long”, and now he gets grief for picking too early. I think he does it just right. His wines have terrific fruit and great acidity that are perfectly in balance yet provide for fantastic aging potential. Great stuff, with an even better QPR. If you can get your hands on this specific wine, though, do yourself a favor and snag it! — 4 years ago
WhAt ThE FUuuuu?!?! Such a good wine! Feel’s like a refreshing Kombucha!! Guilt free bc it feels so healthy and natural and light as air! One of my new faves ever! — 5 years ago
Dammit David. I think he has trackers on our vehicles.
For the comparison to the Trione... two very different wines. And equally good for different reasons. This was crisp. — 4 years ago
Very smooth Malbec — 4 years ago
A huge, meaty nose with the classic hint of blackberry bramble.
A little lively at first, so this one needs air. Delicious layers of candied fruit. Pomegranate juice, green apple, fresh hay with bits of life still left. Soaring acidity of Jolly rancher red, blue and green all mixed together.
This is delicious.

Saumur cab franc that drinks more like a Sauvignon- it’s powerful, builds intensity, & linear somehow even though it maintains it’s light/medium body. What a find. Never heard of producer. Mature raspberries, blackberries & just a balanced purity of fruit that hooked me. curiously devoid of those pencil shavings or green notes typical in cab franc. For about 17$ an outrageous value & can’t wait to try their more expensive cuvées. — 2 years ago
