Tasty, tight and neat. — 9 years ago
Had been wanting to try this Cuvée which largely helped put English Sparkling on the map. Good bead with aromas of Apple and light biscuity aromas with good persistence on the palate. Would easily hold its own in French company. One of the 1001 wines. Have not seen it available in Australia as yet but I might have missed it. — 6 years ago
Founded in 2008 by Simon and Nicola Robinson, Hattingley Valley is located in Hampshire, England and their estate vineyard is set on chalky soils. The ‘Classic Reserve’ is a blend of several vintage wines (18% reserve wines) and opens with biscuit aromas with lemon zest and shades of salted Marcona almond. The palate unveils a lovely mouthfeel as brisk acidity and salinity races through pear, wet stone and kumquat flavors. Drink 2019-2025- 90

Hits keep on coming for Kent wine. It may be freezing outside, but we wanted a rosé. @hushheath Nannette's is an intriguing blend of pinot noir, pinot meunière, and chard. Touch of RS rounds out this perfumed, rose pedal beauty. Now...to get more. — 9 years ago
Once only a draft release, now it bottles, hands down one of the best brown ales in the world, perfect in the style, roasted, toasted malts, nutty and very smooth, not over sweet, coffee and chocolate notes, but in the style, so not like a porter, easy drinking, very easy to session, if you are fan of this style, like New Castle, this is far superior — 9 years ago
At the home of Dean and Margy Glasgow who have a share in Digby. Very similar to a good French Champagne and compared to Nyetimber. Bready aromas with Citrus. Good intensity and length developing complexity at 9 years. Very impressive. — 6 years ago
English bubbles. Strawberries and cream! Underripe strawberries, creamy strawberry spread on the nose. Chalky. Pink lady/Fuji Apple type crisp on the palate. Strawberry short bread finish. Very solid. Nice wine, @Mark Flesher . — 6 years ago
A lovely strawberry red color which leads to an enticing taste presenting floral and strawberries characteristics and underlying cigar and earthiness. A complex and delightful Pinot. — 8 years ago
Good aroma and an amazing taste — 8 years ago

I bought a 1000ml bottle of this gin and it's nearly gone. Monkey 47, when served with Fever Tree Refreshingly Light Tonic, is a stunningly fresh, lively, complex and intriguing drink - no guest has ever been satisfied with just one. It's a hell of a gin. Aromatic and arresting, the myriad herbs that comprise Monkey 47 each play their note in the orchestra that is this gin. I'm English and I like London gins, and perhaps I'm lacking loyalty by loving this Black Forest beauty, but so be it. This Monkey's Gone to Heaven. — 6 years ago
