Oaky, earthy, Smokey, spicy, cherries. Wonderful. Paired with croquetas de jamon — 8 years ago
Semi dry light citrus and taste like melon with the jamon cantaloupe. Nose like fennel and apple. RP 91 — 8 years ago
Bright fruit aroma and initial flavor. Fine tannins balance this wine on the finish. Bracing acidity renders this wine perfect for lamb ragu with manchego grits. — 9 years ago
I smell cigars and meat jamon is present. amazing taste — 9 years ago
A little bit rounder of a Rioja with rich slightly baked red fruit and an acceptable presence of oak. Still lean at 13.5% though. Enjoying on a rooftop in Madrid with some jamon and queso chozo and its fucking perfect. — 10 years ago
Un vino fresco lo acompañamos con unos sandwiches de jamon del país y queso edam, enbadurnados con mostaza gourmet delicioso! — 10 years ago

Perfect acid and fruit and biscuits. Delicious with Jamon Iberico chips... — 8 years ago
Surprised by the complexity of this blend. Catalonian Grenache and Carignan. Went well with the jamon iberico but especially the mackeral kimchee wrap. — 9 years ago
One of the darkest wines I've recently seen- almost purple. Full bodied, smooth tannins, black berries, hint of coffee, vanilla. Would be great with gamey meat, or jamon, but still wonderful on its own. — 9 years ago
Juicy and delicious, perfect for the patatas Bravas and jamon imberico, yum! — 9 years ago
Perfection with our jamon iberico and clams and mussels and octopus rice — 7 years ago
2015. Light red colour. Light spice and smoke, caramelised bbq, slight red fruit first nose. Whole green peppercorn and jamon second nose. Light in the mouth. Tannic spicy but not astringent. Cold and clean in the finish. — 8 years ago
Robust, self assured. With jamon iberico and seriously thick olive oil. — 9 years ago

Incredibly complex 30 year Oloroso from Bodegas Tradicion. Bought this after a great tour and tasting at Tradicion. It’s definitely the best sherry I’ve ever tasted. Dried and apricots, burnt orange, bitter orange peel, toasted hazelnuts, caramelized brown sugar sea salt and chocolate with a beautiful acidity and drive on the palette. Would pair this with jamon iberico, toasted nuts, and a nice salty cheese. Just stunning. — 6 years ago
