Outstanding value at $16. Good body and acidity with floral notes. — 7 months ago
Lovely cab, smooth taste and velvet texture. Boysenberry, dark cherry, tobacco leather tones with nice finish — 9 months ago
Nose: dusty. Cedar. Light leather. Boysenberry, cherries. Plum. Pencil shavings. Taste: rich plum, Smokey oak, cedar, dark chocolate, coffee finish. Some herbaceous notes. Cherry. Smooth but rich. Med+ body, medium acid and tannin, dry. Me likey. — 4 years ago
Still young for my tastes but checking in on a go-to producer. Killer with King Crab Salad sandwiches 🥪
This bottle was a bit slow out the gate and needed some air to reveal the magic inside. This bottle was a pick up from Corti Bros when passing through Sacramento via Tahoe.
Finesse, and beautifully prolific white wine structure all the way throughout.

Powerful aromatics that speak to Aussie Riesling... Key lime, grapefruit, lemon zest, and petrol - think fresh tennis balls. Bounding acidity meets ripe, juicy tropical fruit, as this maintains a dry, lasting finish. Paired with spicy curry, but would also go great poolside in the summer. Fun fact: Vineyard planted in 1912. Outstanding effort. 11% ABV — 7 years ago
Winemaker dinner at Nari. Fabulous and if not tied for WOTN it might win in some cases. — 5 months ago

Solid and definitely needed the aerator but aging well. Will be excellent in a few years. Deep and earthy. Lots of dark fruit. — 4 years ago
East Hampton from Wainscott wines 8-5-20. Really good — 5 years ago
A stunner. Opened with that rustic cab smell. Not sure what lies beneath that initial nose. And then just pure explosive goodness in the glass. Black fruit, swirling with brown fruit in every sip. Lingering finish made for a wonderful moment or two. — 6 years ago
Boysenberry, chocolate, cigar with nice finish — 6 months ago
This really leans into the darker aspect of Cab. Dark cassis, loads of dark crushed stone, baker’s chocolate, dark iodiney savory notes. Intense in the mouth, but with surprisingly nice acids for its 14.9 frame. Rich, but bone dry. Still tannic, but it’s soft. — 6 months ago
Opened a couple hours prior to service and enjoyed over the course of a couple hours. The 1994 “Estate Reserve” pours a slightly hazy garnet color with a near opaque core and some rim variation; medium viscosity with light staining of the tears and some sediment. On the nose, the wine is vinous with notes of ripe and desiccated dark fruits: cassis, black cherry, green bell pepper, tobacco, potpourri, old leather bound books, beef broth, and organic dusty earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium (integrated) tannins and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose with the addition of pomegranates. The finish is long. ABV is 12.5%!! This is about as old school as it gets and I’d be tempted to call this Left Bank Bordeaux if I was blinded. Wow. Drink now…but will probably live for another 10+ years if stored as well as this bottle (perfect). — 8 months ago
Deep and earthy. Drinking ok but could still use more time. — 4 years ago
Still a great Merlot but lots of dark fruit and feels alcoholic/hangover inducing. Their wines recently need to sit much longer than in the past. — 5 years ago
Medium bodied with zesty citrus and underripe stone fruit. Crisp, clean, and petrol-y. — 6 years ago

Winemaker dinner at Nari. This was clearly young and tasted next to the 2011 missing the depth of maturity — 5 months ago
