2015 vintage. Apricot, pear and Apple. A bit of minerality. — 9 years ago
Superb but opened maybe a decade early. Perfect Barolo — 11 years ago
Drank it way too early, obviously, and it was tight as a result. But still lots going on--dark fruit prominent, already some cedar and earthy notes coming. (2011 vintage) — 11 years ago
Took a really long time to open up, but ended up being pretty damn good. Not as good as some late 80s/early 90s Dunns I've had though. — 9 years ago
A bit early into its drinking age, but any wine that can stand up to a fresh tomato soup is an easy pairing wine for sure. Strawberry peeking out of acid and structure with some herbal aromatics. 2014 vintage — 10 years ago
Pretty darn good showing with tons of dark cab goodness and and nice structure early on but as it warmed from cellar temperature and opened the richness of the fruit started to outweigh the acidity and tannin structure. I guess it's a matter of what you want from a Cabernet. The 'Old World' Brother In Law and the rest of his loyal crew who value smoothness over all else thought it was "like buttah". I had to side with the spacewrangler. While this wine was not over the top or over extracted it left me wanting more structure. — 13 years ago
13.6% alc.
Super expressive fruits at this early point that almost is too much/overpowering for the supple and elegant structure of this wine.
While still utterly pleasing I could wish for more tannins and "frame work" here and hope this will gain better balance as the fruit mellows down a bit. — 8 years ago

Still too early, tight, took 75 mins for it to even start softening. Incredible wine and amazing potential, will pick up more! — 9 years ago
Differently delicious — 10 years ago
Little early but still very delicious. — 10 years ago
Excellent taste! — 10 years ago
Never gets old seeing @earlymountain on a wine list. Our Pinot Gris is a great value. — 11 years ago
This is a wine that can be cellared for years to come. We opened it a little early but still a real treat. Straight garnet in color, burnt Carmel and sugar, black tea , a light eucalyptus perhaps and black tar on the nose.
There is luxardo cherry and cassis or kirsch element to the flavor. Great wine. — 12 years ago

Might have opened this 2-3 years too early. Opened it on the advice of a former distributor of this wine and the fact that it was poorly stored before I came across it. Drank over three days. Still a fantastic reminder of how great and complex a Napa Cab can be. This is also the last of my Krannert wines if that means anything to anyone. @Jacob Emberton, CSW — 8 years ago
