This was a big complex wine. Enjoyed with stroganoff. Couldn’t verify that I had the 2013. — 7 years ago
Cultiu orgànic, vendimia manual, criança en bóta durant 1 any, després 6 mesos en dipòsits inox per estabilitzar i clarificar. Olor a nous, pell i vainilla. En boca molt rodó i nervi, amb caràcter, acidesa cítrica, molt llarg, fantàstic per ser un Village. 65€ a Vinacoteca. Molt bona Rcp. — 8 years ago
Tasted along side the 2015 Patz & Hall Gap's Crown Vineyard Pinot Noir and 2013 Durant and Booth Pinot Noir.
Mix of garnet and ruby red. Integrated nose with smoky and savory notes with a touch of dark fruits. High acidity (7/10) and fine tannins. Dark berries on the palate and a touch savory. Cherry cola notes on day two. Medium body and medium plus finish with a touch of minerality. Nicely approachable and drinking well right now. Drink till 2021. — 8 years ago
First time with this wine - me likely - big bold beautiful - decanted for one hour - this does have a jimmy Durante nose on it - a real intoxicating one - drink the rest in another hour - i have to remember to breath as @Jody Scharf reminds me and remember the band Durant Durant as they say "Relax relax" - nice night for wine and smiles - love to 😁😬😬 — 8 years ago
Lemon verbena and minerality dominate the high tone nose. Playful and light across the palate, but has gorgeous depth to fill all the surfaces. A lingering and nuanced finish. Can’t wait to put my efforts into these vines. Thanks Isabelle for this vintage. — 6 years ago

If you like strong reduction this is a winner. I love me some reduction. Saline. High end oak. Clean fruit. — 7 years ago
Tasted along side the 2014 Patz & Hall Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir and 2013 Durant and Booth Pinot Noir.
Solid ruby red. Herbaceous nose with red berries and a touch savory on day one. Day two opened up with some sweet spices, earthy notes and dark currants. A bit harsh on day one on the palate with tart strawberries on the attack, a savory undertone and steely finish. Day two the tarty notes disappeared and brought on some more savory notes and red berries. High lingering acidity (7/10) and medium bodied. Medium plus finish. Needed the second day to become more integrated. Give it a nice decant if drinking now. Drink till 2023. — 8 years ago
Less interesting than previous tastings of this case in my cellar...cork was dry and shattered even with Durant...tannic and brutish...mid body never showed up much and day later in decanter was the best cough menthol cough syrup ever :) — 6 years ago
Beautiful dark purple color in the glass. Soft luscious dark fruit on the nose, lots of blackberries, ripe plums, and red licorice. Very balanced on the palate, a hint of dark red fruit, and just slightly noticeable soft tannins. Very lush lingering finish. — 7 years ago
Tasted blind with the 2015 Patz & Hall Gap's Crown Pinot Noir and 2014 Patz & Hall Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir.
Medium garnet red with a darker core. Layered and complex nose with some elegant floral and spiced notes. A bit earthy, bark, herbal and a touch savory too. Light tannins (4/10) and high acidity (7/10). Burgundian in style, with a slight new world Pinot twist. Beautiful palate with spices, white pepper, and red berries. Medium body and log dry finish. Drink till 2023. — 8 years ago

I think this is my first Oregon Chardonnay, and it definitely makes me want to seek out some more because this is very nice. Showing some development; I'd drink now if you've got one because I think from this point on it's going to start getting tired rather than much better but this was very pleasing nonetheless. Stylistically, this one is drinking somewhere between the leaner styles of oaked California stuff and Côte de Beaune white Burgs. Pours gold of moderate concentration of color. Nose has moderate concentration of aroma, and consists of salted lemon, chalky, crushed oyster shell minerality, baked yellow apple, hard aged cheese rind, baking spices, white chocolate, and a touch of hazelnut and savory truffled character. Palate is more focused and linear than the nose might suggest with more emphasis on the citrus and saline mineral characteristics. Nice complexity. Brisk high acidity, body is medium/borderline medium (-); the only issue i have with this wine is that I wish it had a bit more weight and concentration in the mouth. Really enjoyable stuff. Very alive, aromas keep shifting as the wine gets more exposure to air and warms up. After a while the nose developed a kind of cinnamon buttered toast character that was super nostalgic for me, reminded me of childhood. — 8 years ago

This 2013 blew our collective minds! Old vines, unique terroir of the Dundee Hills AVA. Perfect balance with vibrancy; earth, fruit, and tannin come together and honor the great legacy of a master sorely missed, rest her soul, Patty Greene! Now this is tremendous example of the heights an Oregon Pinot can reach!! — 6 years ago
