Very delicate; sweetness on palate. Amazing with desserts and even cheese pizzas. — 8 years ago
I can't stop drinking this... This might be a good problem... Dark red ruby in color with a medium-plus intensity. The nose is filled with dark bing cherries, fresh cranberries, wet violets, wild mushrooms, moss, forest floor, smoked wood, and wet rocks. The palate was fleshy, mysterious and refined. Mushrooms and a perfect dose of acidity and chewy tannic structure made the finish irresistible. It's balance competes and stands tall with any of the great Burgundy producers. It's truly astonishing how this 12.5% Gamay is so complex. This bottle is hard to put down. Cheers to a perfect Friday night! — 9 years ago
Such a baby...decanted for three hours and it came right out of its shell — 9 years ago
1995 Dom. Laurent NSG Les Vaucrains - The wine is showing beautifully. Still a bunch of primary notes, harmoniously integrated with some secondary tones. — 10 years ago
Give this one a little time. But it may be THE (or one of certainly) benchmark wines for the appellation. — 10 years ago
This is beautifully built gamay with good density, touch of smokiness and nice grip. Friday night meatloaf never had it so good! — 8 years ago
