Purple. Purple. Purple! Lavender, iris, and violets on the nose. The palate, however, reveals salted caramels, old-fashioned cream cola, and beautifully integrated, layered flavors. — 10 years ago

This wine is delicious from top to bottom. The nose reveals pencil shavings and graphite; just what I would expect from a superb Pinot Noir in this stage of its development. The flavors, however, caught me by pleasant surprise. Bountiful acidity and high-toned red fruits like cranberries and plums integrate seamlessly with a pleasant earthy, umami base. Drink now or continue cellaring. — 10 years ago
