2018 vintage - hey @Delectable Wine would be nice if you added this to my history! — 6 years ago
For a 20 year old St Estephe this Cos d’Estournel is sublime. Perfectly aged but shows a lot of youth throughout the hour opening with red fruit mixed in with leather and chalk. A good 35 sec finish. A classic Bordeaux that rocks! Kept from my Phd days ( Rodolphe this is the last one buddy) is surprisingly vibrant. happy birthday 🥳 Philippa. — 7 years ago
Lovely! Really hits above its weight class. All bright lemon, acid and mineral. Yum! — 8 years ago
This is how my #lafete2015 gala dinner opened. Super fresh, bar set high. Couldn't be happier than to be sitting next to @Rodolphe Péters. — 10 years ago
Nice blend for the price.
Barrel-fermented and aged in mostly older oak, the 2018 Lirac Blanc Comtesse Madeleine is a blend of 40% Marsanne, 35% Clairette, 20% Grenache Blanc, and 5% Picpoul.
An 88-acre estate, Château de Montfaucon sits just across the Rhône River from the esteemed vineyards of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. It is owned and operated by Rodolphe de Pins, a UC Davis graduate and former member of the winemaking staff at Domaine du Vieux Telegraphe. — 5 years ago
Enjoyable white. Dana especially liked it. — 6 years ago
Absolutely fantastic. Crisp, clean, elegant. Oaky goodness, not so dry and mineral as most white burgundy. — 7 years ago
Soft red cherry, violets, leather hide, forest floor and coffee grounds. With air, cinnamon and clove show too. Balanced, fresh red fruit - strawberry and sour cherry - tannins are very well integrated. Finishes short, but delicious. Drink now. — 8 years ago
Toasty charcoal nose, black cherry fruit, tobacco and cedar. Great mid burg Pinot. — 9 years ago
Borgueils for me are like cru Beaujolais- joyous, vibrant & low tannins. Wines to make you smile. This has red & black currants, like Ribena, which for any Brits out there, is one of those delicious flavor profiles I just adore. Less on the pencil shavings here & more of the Ribena. — 6 years ago

Groovy!! Man I love me a Burgundy. A little earth a little smoke, some nice fruit and a fun afternoon hanging with @Todd Abrams — 7 years ago

Coffee, dried plum, toast and cocoa. Round warm and greasy palate. Great linger. Great experience. Love it. — 8 years ago

Slow oxed for two hours the wine both aromaticslly and on the mouth is somewhat monochromatic. Nevertheless it combines good balance and elegance and went well with dinner — 4 years ago
