Powerful aromas, ripe black fruits. Light and fruity in the palate with a surprise smokiness. Some of the natural wine comes through on the nose and palate, but not overpowering. Very drinkable! Perfect pairing with our Christmas Eve Austrian Dinner! — 7 months ago

Love this wine - Christina — 4 years ago
Sublime. I’m biased but it is probably the best example of merlot on the central coast. Tiny yield from a small vineyard planted on steep grade. Cherries, dark chocolate and muted green herbal pepper notes. Alleged Petrus clonal material, the result is world class and is hard to outshine domestically. — 4 years ago

Light ruby/purple color. Aromas of ripe red cherries and red berries along with red flowers. Juicy red cherry flavors with slight touches of bramble and minerals. Lively and crisp finish. Soft tannins. No sign of oak. Sensing carbonic maceration as this wine reminds me of a young Beaujolais. Quite fresh and bright. Named for the winemaker. Can handle a chill. Refreshing. — 4 months ago
