Even better than côte du py in this vintage. Crazy cherry on the nose, iron too, earth, crazy barnyard notes too. The palate is a yummy mix between a big acid backbone, different layers of fruits and textures, firm tannins, and a finish with cherry and a terroir twist. A master piece. — 7 years ago
I would go 8.9. I don't QUITE agree with experts. — 9 years ago
Poured w/ homemade pulled pork pizza. Delish. A touch stinky. Juicy. Just damn fun. Held up to the jalapeño, and made the pork even more succulent. What else do ya want for 15 bones? — 11 years ago
Surprisingly heavy but quite nice. — 5 years ago
Unmistakably Foillard, in magnum. Delicious, fast-drinking gamay from the Cote du Py. Great stuff, near impossible to find — 6 years ago
Nice and fresh, another bottle proving 2016 is better than 2015 to my palate in Beaujolais. — 7 years ago
Very fresh and vibrant. Strawberry and a hint of blood. — 7 years ago
Big wine, very modern and a bit sticky but still classy pedigree — 8 years ago
Like James nose of less fruit and more forest. Good balance and body. Long finish. $25. Gordons tasting. All lovely pure wines. — 9 years ago
Thick bubblegum and earth + alcohol ! Superb. — 10 years ago

Color : Red
Wine estate : Bernard Dugat-py
Designation : Burgundy
Name : Bourgogne
Country : France
Vivino : 4/5
Note : Non-Filtered Burgundy, do not forget to return the bottle before tasting to avoid unpleasant surprises 😉
With its red robe, we are on a typical Burgundy nose with aromas of flowers, strawberries and slightly woody. A correct length.

Recommended Value purchase here. Did not disappoint. Solid structure. Nice rounded berry tones. Def but again for price — 7 years ago
2007. Big, decanted an hour in advance and it still needed more. — 10 years ago
Amazing bright res fruit, paired with brisket...amazing. — 12 years ago
Arron Sweeney
Fresh raspberry, cherry, mineral and violet notes on the nose. Bright acidity and crunchy tannins. Leaner and more angular than the Côte Du Py but still silky. Wish I would’ve held on to it longer as the finish was a bit disappointing. Will improve with age. — 4 years ago
