Muscadet reminds me of the sea. Especially the nose. This one is lean- wine strained through crushed sea shells- little briney. Bone dry. One of the best muscadets I’ve had. — 7 years ago
2014 en 2016. Super ! Aromatique à souhait, j'aurais envie de le goûter un peu plus vieux... — 9 years ago
2009 Gros-Plant old vines, a cool, neglected find in the cellar. Still vibrant fruit and minerality, but acidity has softened a bit. I want oysters now. — 10 years ago
Vintage 2007 | My goodness. Chaume is such a privileged location. And happily... one that a lot of people do not know yet. Claude Papin is a top winegrower. Mahony colour. Deep mahony. A smell with figs and honey. Lavendel honey. Awesome balanced taste. A Chenin Blanc that belongs to the top of the world. | Paired with duck liver from Hofstede de Blaak — 5 years ago

45$ at Bodega but would be less retail. Loire valley, not citrusy, complex. Very nice. — 6 years ago
On night one, pretty much closed with some nice minerality and lemon. after .3 days in the fridge all these wonderful melon and other fruits come out to balance the acidity and it becomes a masterwork of Muscadet.. buy a case and age 8-10 years folks.. gorgeous — 10 years ago
2010 with such fresh crisp fruit. Meyer lemon and powdery minerality. Want to put away a few bottles, see the evolution. — 11 years ago

Man I love me some midsummer Muscadet. This bright crisp one hit the spot. Queue up the yacht rock and pop the cork! — 5 years ago
