Domaine Theulot Juillot Mercurey premier cru "Les Combins" 2010.
If you're looking for a beautiful first course wine that pairs with a lot of rustic, inspired food, this is that wine.
Cherries and raspberries, sure, but there's also baking spices and red peppercorns and underbrush. The palate is young and fresh, bursting with fruit and spice while still being distinctly pinot noir. — 10 years ago

2014. Just a baby, but everything is there: fresh red fruits, hint of eucalyptus and umami, black tea tannins. — 10 years ago
Elegant perfumed field of flowers. Lemon. Crisp acid with stone. Francoise is an amazing winemaker. — 10 years ago
Lovely acid and structure; vanilla and oak in sophistication, not excess; complex: sweet hay, unripe apricot, cream, gooseberry. — 7 years ago
2015: Fin balanse og smakte godt til ostefat! — 8 years ago
Toasty butter but with a bounty of fruit and zest — 8 years ago
Golden yellow, slightly oily full mouthfeel at first with lively, crisper finish. Grassy, herbs, lemony, floral overtones, almost mint towards the end, very little oak or vanilla. Too cold from the fridge, really needs to warm up a bit, but then gets really good. — 9 years ago
Smooth, elegant, round. Has the body of what you might expect from Meursault but at half the price. Very pleased! — 10 years ago
Dark, structured, almost sparse. Great acid. Needs a couple of years, at least. — 10 years ago
