Medium ruby color with aromas of ripe red fruits and elegant hints of floral. On the palate flavors of black cherry, raspberry and plum with hints of fig and tobacco. Tannins are fine and round, a tad young with high acidity noted. The finish is medium, smooth and ends with oak and earthy mineral notes. Very nice. Needs time. — 5 years ago

Very spicy and herbaceous, with soft tannins and lively acidity. — 7 years ago
Sharp and briny. Lovely taste of Corsica with a pasta dish. Did really well with pork sausage and fennel. — 4 years ago
A wine from Iowa. A first for me. And what a nice surprise. A really well made wine. This French hybrid does well in cooler weather and this is a really good example. A bit like a Pinot Grigio or Pinot Blanc. But not sweet and nothing foxy or weird. Really very enjoyable. — 5 years ago
Saludos

Patience and Protein.
Upon opening, this is a tannic beast. Decanted 1/2 hr or so. But... the sausage w Swiss chard and Marcella’s tomatoe sauce over polenta brought out its beauty.
N: Tar, underbrush, cola, roses, iron, dank minerality.
P: Really needs protein. Dark fruits, long,
Not rich but sappy, snappy finish. Pine forest, black cherry.

Great structure and body. Elegant. Tannins were very present, but fleeting. That wave of almond finish left my mouth salivating. — 9 years ago
Ancora molto giovane e legno un pò troppo invasivo. Nn so se lo assorbirà col tempo. — 9 years ago

Saludos.
