Beaujolais Nouveau is always fun. Very fruity with cherry notes. One of the better Noveau’s. Easy drinking during the holidays — 2 years ago

Eucalyptus bomb. Like Heitz Martha’s Vineyard, early Turnbull wines were known for the character imparted by neighboring eucalyptus groves. I’ve never come across a wine where it was as apparent as with this one. Perhaps with age the eucalyptus sticks around as the fruit fades. Enjoyable experience all the same. — 6 years ago
Tasted blind. Dark reddish tawny, almost opaque. "Wild ass nose" my notes say. Notes of red fruit, plums, spice, moist earth, a little mocha and some old leather. Lively fruit matched with a nice structure. I'm in old Bordeaux land with my guess of 61 Mouton. Table talk points out how ultra rare this bottle is, with those in the know viewing it as one of the best CA cabs ever made. Hard for me to argue that as it sits next to the 74 Heitz MV and goes toe to toe with it all night. — a year ago
Fresh aroma. Fruity with plum, violet and strawberry. A bit sweet and enough acidity. Delicious one 2019 @1080, domaine, 210821 — 3 years ago
Slightly muted nose at first but with some dark fruit and violets. But what a gorgeous palate, from mid to strong bodied, a nice tension, fairly powerful but silky coated tannins, just enough, nothing rustic here, a nice balance to this delicious wine and even better when drank on day two. 91-92

Incredible with pork belly & apples! — 5 years ago
Regal, powerful, rich, layered with minerality, 2019 Perrieres is fantastic, gaining weight and precision in the decanter and unfurling beautifully over the course of dinner. It’s laser focused, with both richness and clarity and the palate has such an elegant texture. Really lovely bottle. — a year ago

Outstanding. It was worth the long wait. 2007 fruit still extremely bright, soft tannins and oak. Wonderful — 9 months ago
