Lurid magenta. Expansive aromas of mineral-tinged red berries, incense and cola, joined by a suave floral nuance as the wine opens up. Appealingly sweet and seamless on the palate, offering juicy raspberry, cherry, spicecake and candied licorice flavors that are braced by a spine of juicy acidity. Finishes smooth and long, with gentle tannins and lingering floral pastille and star anise notes. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, December 2019)

A new vintage - beautiful CDP, balanced and elegant. We decanted, but again this wine is jumping right out. Very nice. — 2 years ago

One of the best Chateauneuf du Papes I have ever tasted. Bursting with flavor, rich and even creamy notes, plum and black cherries, currants, a little cinnamon. Wonderful. Maureen says, "Porty and yummy, earthy, good." — 8 years ago
Smooth 2020 vintage. Highly drinkable and settles well on its own or with food — 3 years ago
